Els Aquatics in the east of Pretoria is looking for full and part-time LTS and stroke development teachers to join our team. We also have a position available for a Saturday morning LTS teacher.

The successful candidate will have a love for swimming and a passion for working with young children.

Work in a friendly environment and earn between R100 and R130 per hour.

Relevant qualifications count in your favour. Much of the training is given in-house.

Spring is around the corner. Temperatures are climbing. If your kids aren't booked for swimming lessons, make sure you call us to reserve their spot. Learning good technique early on is essential if they are to perform well in swimming and other water-based activities. See you at the pool.

One week to go to the 'Fundamentally Faster Swimming Clinic', hosted by Ian Els and Wikus Weber at Curro College Hazeldean. The clinic, which is aimed at school gala swimmers and new age-group swimmers, runs from monday 17 July until Thursday 20 July. In order to.accommodate kids still at school we have moved the clinic to the afternoon, from 2-6pm each day. Swimmers start each day off with a skill and technique session, improving movement through the water. Then a short video session. Thereafter swimmers participate in a training session aimed at improving fitness, while working on skills learned earlier in the day. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING 'FUNDAMENTALLY FASTER SWIM CLINIC' - Due to the fact that our Tygervalley students would not have been able to attend the morning clinic times, the clinic will now run from Mondat 17 July, until Thursday, 20 July, from 2pm, until 6pm every day. Help your kids become better swimmers

As from 11 January 2017, Els Aquatics will be offering stroke correction and stroke development classes at Curro Hazeldean's amazing 25-meter, heated, indoor pool. If you are interested in signing your kids up, please contact Ian on 0834649975 for further information.

These Island Style manufactured Els Aquatics costumes are of the highest quality. The costumes, available in boys jammer or trunk, girls racerback and one-piece costume for 1-4 year olds, are made from super chlorine resistant, 50+ UV protective material. From September 2016 Els Aquatics, located at the In-Shere Centre in Silverlakes will be offering aqua Aerobics classes three mornings a week. The indoor, heated facility is perfect for this application and change rooms and showers are also available on site.

Classes will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8-8.45am. The cost for one, twice or three times per week is R250, R400 and R500 per month respectively. Please contact Ian on 0834649975 or Lisa on 0828212764 for further information.

Year-round swimming programme.

Please remember that Els Aquatics offers swimming throughout the year. In order to combat the colder months we have gone to great lengths to make year-round swimming a very attractive proposition. Warm water, complimented by a temperature-controlled indoor environment and changing facilities all without stepping outdoors means your young swimmer can benefit from year-round lessons. So often the hard-earned gains we make in the hot months are all but lost as cooler weather sets in and kids stop swimming...Its not necessary. Allow your children to continue the learning process.

March/April Holiday Course
Els Aquatics /Lisa Els Swim School is offering holiday courses from 21 – 24 March (4days) and 29 March – 1 April (4 Days) The format is the same as regular classes but classes are attended on four consecutive days.
We find that the kids make solid progress over the course of the week. This is especially true of kids struggling at a particular level or new to swimming.
In the case of stroke swimmers we usually focus on one stroke, maximum two and attempt to make a substantial improvement to the chosen stroke.

Els Aquatics update: Many new and existing customers are calling to hear what the latest is with the opening date for the new swim school at In-Shere, or to ask why we have not contacted them yet...

The reason for this is we are still trying to ascertain what the opening date will be. The developers and builder are still confident it will be the beginning of November, but we prefer to err on the side of caution. While things are coming along nicely, we are trying to avoid making promises we can't keep. We will keep everyone up to date and as soon as we are comfortable the end is in sight, we will be phoning around feverishly to make bookings.
