We had a fire safety day, where the children learned what to do if there is a fire. They also got to try on the fire fighter gear and feel how heavy the equipment they carry is.

Thank you so much for teaching all the children about fire safety.

The wonderful creations the children are making in pottery. Their next project is making fairy houses.

The History group went on a trip to the Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre.

An experience that sometimes humbles people by showing how many lives were lost and affected.

The children loved the experience and had so many stories to tell all the others when they returned.

Our field trip to Maropeng

A brief snapshot of some things we did this year. We grew vegetables from seed and learnt about every country in Africa.

Every child worked very hard this year and had fun at the same time.

We will start our next adventure on the 16th of January. If you wanna join us or have any questions just send us a message.

We have out first vegetables ready for harvest very soon. A bunch of the plants are starting to flower and the herbs are growing very well.

Our project board has gained so much colour with all the new geography projects of designing an island with things we have learnt in class. They are also drawing a picture from a book they read, so far the middle school series is their favorites. What books do your kids enjoy?

Our project board is growing, we have book reviews and pictures inspired by the books they have been reading. Mobiles they made for life skills and a geography project about the different types of forests.

We have managed to grow some strawberries and some peas, all the other plants are growing very well.

Our school project of trying to grow our own vegetables is moving along very well.
Some of the kids are trying to make their own compost and others are working on different watering methods.

The first of the seedling have been transplanted into the bigger garden.

Our seedings are all starting to sprout. The children have been doing a good job looking after them .

In a few days so many new seeds have started to sprout.
