The SIG 552 assault rifle is one of the nicest looking guns in the airsoft world, and has seen quite a few manufacturers throw their own ideas into the ring - Tokyo Marui, Jing Gong, WELL, ICS and now G&G!

The G&G/TopTech SIG 552 quickly identifies itself as the forerunner with features like a stamped steel upper and lower receiver (versus ICS' stamped steel upper & plastic lower receiver, and Marui's all-plastic exterior), making it the only truly 'full metal' SIG 552 on the market to date, functional bolt lock for easier hop up adjustment (a feature the Marui, JG and WELL lack), tightbore barrel and soft cold-weather hop up rubber as standard giving the gun excellent range and accuracy out of the box.

There is something menacing in this gun's simplicity, like many other SIG designs - the gun is simplistic and utilitarian; its controls are ambidextrous (magazine release & fire selector), comes with a folding stock as standard, and has more than sufficient rails on the foregrip for mounting accessories such as vertical grips, torches & lasers etc, as well as a removeable scope rail on top of the receiver for mounting whichever optics you please. The rails are completely innoffensive, so should you wish to use the rifle in its minimalist state, you don't have a LEGO-brick looking gun - instead you have a smooth & slick looking modern rifle that is a little more unusual! Perfect if you are trying to get away from all of the M4's and AK's out there!

The G&G/TopTech SIG SG 552 features OD (olive drab) furniture for a more tactical appearance, as well as giving it a more realistic finish. The plastic on G&G/TopTech's SIG SG 552 is not as sheeny as that of the Real Steel, and feels very solid unlike the creaky plastic of the JG variants. When you pick up this rifle you are immediately met with a feeling of pure satisfaction - this gun is solid, and noticeably so; whether you fold the stock or leave it extended, you won't find an ounce of wobble! It is pure utilitarian - the trigger guard is easily moved out of the way for easier manipulation while wearing gloves.
