Steel Challenge is a fun way to improve both speed and accuracy.

The Steel Challenge is a speed shooting competition that consists of eight standardized stages with steel targets in three sizes; small circular, large circular, and rectangular targets. Competitors are scored solely by the time it takes them to complete each stage, and the winner is the competitor with the lowest overall time.

Good afternoon everyone, just a reminder that registration for the Steel Challenge on the 20th of September will open tomorrow ( Wednesday the 9th) @ midday. Registration & squadding will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

Hi All

The first update on the Steel Challenge on 30 August

Range rules say that we are limited to 50 shooters on the range at one time and squads are limited to 8 max.

There will be two sessions. The first is from 07H00 to 10H30, the second from 11H00 to 14H30

You will have to pre-register and score yourselves. We are going to use ShootnScoreit - https://shootnscoreit.com/dashboard/

For those of you not already registered, please do so beforehand.

We will open up Registration on 19 August at 12H00 and it's a First-come, First Served basis.

Once the 100 slots are taken, you will go onto a waiting list and if someone drops out their will slot will be available for the next in line. If you are registered and realize that you are not going to make it, please drop out that somebody on the waiting list can get their chance.

PLEASE NOTE: That you will be scoring yourselves in Shootnscoreit itself. It's simple but we will send out how to do this closer to the time. We are also going to ask that you follow an order so that we can get through this as efficiently as possible.

This is the way that we understand how the range wants it to work. If there are any changes we will update you.

On the day, you will have to go to the range office first, sign their COVID declaration and their range register on only after that is done are they going to allow you onto the range. You can then come through to us and register with and pay us.

We're back! We have some logistical issues to sort out, but the first will be on the 30th of August. We'll keep you updated in the following weeks.

UPDATE:

Steel Challenge has been cancelled to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by exercising social distancing.

We will be looking at the following months to determine when the next Steel Challenge will be.
