As of 1 September 2023, C.E.W Hobbies will have an amazing pair of new owners that will work just as hard for you and will care for you as much as I did.

As many of you wondered why I am closing, I thought it wise to share the reason; we are emigrating and we are looking forward to our new adventure abroad.

Thank you again for always thinking of me when you plan your next special occassion, when you wanted to beautify your home and wanting to give that special gift to a loved one. I adored every minute of it!

It is with great sadness but also extreme excitement to announce that I/C.E.W Hobbies will be permanently closing 15 December 2023.

Sorry it's a long one!

After 9 years of extremely long hours, hard work, lots of tears but also lots of laughter, prayers and grateful and proud moments, I would like to thank YOU for your continious and loyal support.
You are truly amazing! Without you I would not have been able to survive during all the hardships us as South Africans have to endure every day.

Some days I wanted to throw in the towel and other days I am on my knees thanking The Lord for all my blessings and for never giving up, for keeping me strong!

I am telling you this so long in advance so that you have enough time to order your year end gifts/stock/Christmas gifts etc. in advance. I would normally close my orders around 15 October for the year, but I suspect this year it might be earlier in order not to create a backlog and me having to disappoint anyone.

I am at this moment not sure what will happen to my business/machines and if whomever buys them, will continue with custom orders etc but when I know I will gladly share their information with you, if you would like to continue to support them.

So, just a BIG thank you to every single person that supported me, you put food on our table and helped pay our bills, helped my daughter through school and pay for her extracurricular activities. Even helped so that C.E.W Hobbies could help families and children throughout the year that was less fortunate and needed a little extra love.

My family, you are all my rock! Your unconditional support and love and all your help kept me standing! Held me up when I felt like giving up. I will never be able to thank you enough!

Now, I have to wipe away a few tears and start looking forward to my/our new journey we will be taking. I will miss you all. So many of you became friends and family!

Your love and support during the difficult times will always be so much appreciated.
