Live in the moment
Life's an adventure so live it. Sharing my adventures and the mountains I deeply love, in my quest
πΈππβπ-πππβπππ β¨ In recent years perceptions of South Africaβs arid Karoo have been radically transformed. Whereas the Karoo was once regarded as a desolate wasteland, it is now being punted as a positively trendy region, both to live in and to explore. Tweefontein Guesthouse is an ideal destination for astro tourism, captivating stargazers with its pristine night skies and celestial wonders. Far away from the bright city lights, the Karoo offers unparalleled opportunities for stargazing and astronomical exploration. With its low light pollution and clear atmospheric conditions, the Karoo unveils a mesmerizing blanket of stars, revealing the Milky Way in all its glory. Visitors can embark on stargazing tours, attend astronomy workshops, or simply lay back and marvel at the countless constellations shimmering above. Whether you're an avid astronomer or simply fascinated by the vastness of the universe, the Karoo's astro tourism experiences promise an unforgettable journey through the captivating wonders of the night sky.

The Xhosa people are universally friendly. Everyone welcomes you. Sometimes itβs a shy smile or a wave. Sometimes itβs a loud cheer. Sometimes itβs a nod of the head.
We make a point of interacting with as many people as possible. It paves the way for other tourists to enjoy the Pondoland way of life.

At 10,781ft above sea level, Mt. Baker offers the perfect introduction to mountaineering and is often considered the best glacier training venue in the US.
