Hey Guys - I'm not sure if you know this but 21 new Marine Protected Areas for our coastline have been proposed. . together, the new MPAs will increase the extent of South Africa’s MPA coverage from 0.5% to 5% of our oceans. Which would be amazing !!

However your voice does matter, please add you name to this list in SUPPORT of these MPA's.

Every voice shown in support really matters and helps policy makers, scientists and conservationists.

Conditions were challenging and then they were epic.
But each time we submerged, the world below never ever disappointed
Fish galore... dolphins... turtles... pregnant ragged tooth sharks... rays and eels.
Lucky lucky lucky us!!! 💙💙💙

BREAKING NEWS: Whales 1, Whalers 0. The whales win!

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ruled that Japan’s so called ‘scientific whaling’ program breaks international law and must stop.

Over the last 25 years, more than 10,000 whales have been killed in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary by Japanese whalers.

That ends today.
The judgments of the ICJ have binding force and are without appeal.

Thank you and congratulations to everyone who stood up for the whales! This is a huge victory.
