2 lovely ladies joined or class today. They want me to go to their home for a workshop, so I suggested they come for a trial run first. 1 class workshops are a bit tricky as the item has to be made, dried somewhat, decorated and then left for me to do the glazing. At least with hand made pottery nothing is ever a flop.

Yesterday evening I had an alert that there were terrorists in the area and to lock ourselves into our safe room. After some panic (putting it mildly) it turned out to be a false alarm. I discovered my body’s response to a sudden adrenaline rush is to vomit. A lot. This comparably minor event brought into sudden relief the absolute terror the poor citizens of the south experienced and are still experiencing.
I thought it appropriate to share this hand built Chanukah Menorah, an age old symbol of the perseverance of the Jewish nation. There will be light after these dark days.

Some damn good students I have. Makes a difference when you take your time and create something beautiful....... It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Come join us for classes and meet awesome like-minded people
