Our sunnah picnic for grades 1 and 2, because sharing is caring. A fun filled activity where we learnt about sunnah foods, the benefits of this and Highlighting the importance of a sunnah in our daily lives. We extended this as an opportunity to remind ourselves about ramadhaan and its importance..
A sneak peek of Developing Mindz Homeschooling center Aqsa day. Students and teachers were all dressed up, and teachers prepared various activities for kids, which included tablet time research and a fun cupcake piping skilled based activity. A fun learning day indeed.

Friday things. The importance of Friday Jumah was highlighted in our first Friday lesson. Students were taught small things that could be incorporated into their ibadat practices. One thing we focused on was zikr and the importance of the remembrance of our creator. We then worked on our fine motor skills by threading beads and making our own zikr counters..

Empowering students and working on confidence is what the first term is about.. We channeled all our kiddies energy by introducing kickboxing into our sports program for this term. Our awesome coaches taught kids the value of confidence by empowering not only their minds but also their bodies by instilling the discipline needed to execute the right moves and the when's and how's of it all...

Week 1 started off with the Anti Bullying pledge. We encouraged all students to remember to be a BUDDY, not a BULLY, and students signed off on their anti bullying pledge. We discussed what behavior is acceptable and the feelings and emotions that surround our theme. A kind word, a smile, and a friendly gesture goes a long way...
