Running a not profit home requires dedication and constant commitment from all involved. Especially those who live there on a daily basis. Their sacrifice is enormous.

So many special lives rely on the daily provisions. Managing the different personalities and needs of each child is a full time job. But none of this is possible if we don’t have ongoing financial support. 💰
Our monthly government grant does not even cover 10% of each child’s monthly needs. We have to fundraise the balance.

This is where we desperately need financial support from South African businesses and our community. We cannot do this alone. 🙏🏽

As we head into Youth Day, we remember the contribution that young people made to the struggle for freedom in South Africa. On June 16, 1976, schoolchildren marched in a protest that began the Soweto Uprising. The uprising was a major event in the struggle against apartheid in South Africa.

We are in need of a Project Leader for our VSH Cycle Team taking part in the 947 Cycle Challenge Ride for a Purpose campaign. 🚲

Responsibilities would include … to help advertise Team VSH, organise cycle shirts and sponsors, to assist with growing the team, respond to race day emails, arrange a small pre race get together and to be available on race day. 🚲 💙💛
