A young entrepreneur from Mookgophong has turned his passion for gardening into a thriving backyard business! Inspired by the Seriti Institute gardens at his school and an online agriculture community, he started his own garden to support himself by selling fresh produce.
Despite the challenges of limited water access, he grows a variety of crops, including beetroots, mustard spinach, Swiss chard, and kale. His dedication and hard work are truly impressive!
Stories like his motivate us to support and encourage youth to learn valuable, sustainable skills in agriculture. By equipping them to grow their own food and take care of themselves, we foster independence and resilience in our communities.
We are committed to reaching every community, helping young people develop these skills and create positive change.
If you'd like to support his efforts, please consider donating seedlings, work equipment, or pesticides. Your support can make a significant difference in expanding his garden and enhancing his success.
