A Cameroonian Boris Kamgo harvests 1.5 million pineapples per year and transforms into natural juice. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

Boris Kamgo is a young Cameroonian who owns large hectares of pineapple farms in Dibamba, Cameroon, which he transforms into juice at his factory.

He is the founder of Agro World Group and owner of Agro Fresh natural pineapple juice company.
During his trip to Mexico, he was marveled by the large scale cultivation of pineapple and processing into juice.

As an eager beaver, he paid for training.
When he returned to Cameroon he bought pineapples from different farmers to transform into juice. He later realized that it changes its taste because of different cultivating procedures. He also noticed the use of chemical fertilizers.

This motivated him to open his own pineapple farm in Dibamba, which has a rich soil. Today, he harvests over 100,000 pineapples a month.
In his farm, he takes advantage of the free spaces to plant bananas and fruit trees.

He cultivates pineapples without any chemical fertilizers. 100 percent organic.

He rather uses cow dunks and urine
to improve the water contents especially the water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamin contents in pineapple.

In this light, he owns a cow ranch beside the pineapple farm.
He uses the peels of the pineapples to feed the cows.
He also studied how to brew beer from pineapple peels.

"I don't understand how in our supermarkets we find Pineapple juice produced in Frรฃnce, meanwhile they were exp0rted from Africa" - Boris

In his farm, he has planted 2000 soursop trees , which he doesn't sell. The leaves are dried before exportation. They are transformed into tea.

His fruit trees attract bees, which he transforms into honey.

Boris Kamgo has been honored by the g0vernment for his contribution in the agro-processing sector.

If you think itโ€™s easy to be minister of Agriculture, try it one day - Phiri

AGRICULTURE minister Mtolo Phiri says those who think it is easy to deliver as Agriculture minister should try it just for a night.

Speaking at the launch of the Winter Maize Harvest in Copperbeltโ€™s Mpongwe District
yesterday, Phiri revealed that it is not easy to be a minister of Agriculture under President Hakainde Hichilemaโ€™s leadership as the President gets to demand for delivery of development often.

โ€œColleagues, if you think itโ€™s easy to be a minister of Agriculture, try one day, I give you just one night, you see how many phone calls you get from the president in the night. Some of them not very friendly,โ€ said the minister.

He said his ministry is doing well so far in facilitating a good environment for farmers and companies that seek to farm for the countryโ€™s food security.

Phiri added that the ministry is doing everything possible to ensure that no one dies of hunger in the course of the drought.

โ€œFISP is there for you, it is coming. If there are a few issues we will resolve them. That FISP is yours when you pay the K400, immediately go and redeem.โ€

โ€œMr president we have also delivered the fertiliser, itโ€™s everywhere in the country. Itโ€™s up to the farmers to go and get that fertiliser.
No one dies in this country because of drought. We are buying the maize from farmers and taking the maize closer to the people so they can access the maize,โ€ he said.

What you see in the pictures is a parasite called (Cymothoa exigua)
This parasite enters the fish through the gills and then cuts the fish's tongue and becomes the new tongue, and thus takes over every food that the fish gets.
Once this happens, the fish becomes just a container to contain, nurture and feed the parasite until the fish dies of starvation and the parasite completes its task with a new victim..
Sometimes the fish asks for help from one of the cleaner shrimp called โ€œPederson shrimpโ€, who plays the role of a rescuer and extracts the parasite and kills it .
