When putting your time and effort into these smaller rehab exercises they will naturally progress into functional exercises. These exercises will fit seamlessly into your regular workout routines.
Your rehab exercises will naturally progress and become more complex as your rehab continues. This complexity adds functionality to your movements which helps your body become more resilient and your exercises more efficient.
Also, these rehab exercises help you gain a better body awareness. This mind-shift will drive you to be more committed on how to maintain and improve upon your bodyโs functionality ๐ช
So yes, you will always want to keep an element of those exercises in your routine for a stronger and more resilient you, but in a manner that fits seamlessly into your normal workout routine๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
Too much of a good thing can be bad, this is even true for exercise ๐ฎ. Overtraining is when you are excessively training and you donโt give your body the time it needs to recover efficiently ๐ฎโ๐จ

๐June is Menโs Health Month๐ The focus being on raising awareness about preventable health issues and encouraging men and boys alike to take control of their health. ๐ช
As part of our focus on promoting the importance of staying active, we decided to hold a Handgrip Challenge for this month. ๐ At the end of the month, the respective winners from each age category will receive a fun mystery prize. ๐คฉ (You'll have to wait and see what it is!)

On the 28th of May it is World Hunger Day. As our Bio practice, promoting physical activity is what we do but we also understand how important a nutritious meal is for this to fuel your body. We recognise that food security is a big problem here in South Africa and want to be able to contribute something to make a difference.
How can you help? ๐ค It's simple! We are collecting non-perishable goods for an NPO called STRIVE NPO who will be putting hampers together for the 28th. Even one can would make a difference! ๐
