When putting your time and effort into these smaller rehab exercises they will naturally progress into functional exercises. These exercises will fit seamlessly into your regular workout routines.

Your rehab exercises will naturally progress and become more complex as your rehab continues. This complexity adds functionality to your movements which helps your body become more resilient and your exercises more efficient.

Also, these rehab exercises help you gain a better body awareness. This mind-shift will drive you to be more committed on how to maintain and improve upon your bodyโ€™s functionality ๐Ÿ’ช

Too much of a good thing can be bad, this is even true for exercise ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. Overtraining is when you are excessively training and you donโ€™t give your body the time it needs to recover efficiently ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Signs of overtraining ๐Ÿค•:
* Joint pain
* Persistent muscle soreness
* Decreased performance
* Frequent injuries
* Mood swings
* Lack of motivation
* Lack of sleep

Recovery trips ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ:
* Schedule mobility sessions
* Have recovery days
* Eat a balanced diet
* Listen to your body
* Get quality sleep

How to prevent it ๐Ÿ’ช:
* Increase your workout routine gradually
* Make sure you have recovery days
* Have variety to your workouts

On the 28th of May it is World Hunger Day. As our Bio practice, promoting physical activity is what we do but we also understand how important a nutritious meal is for this to fuel your body. We recognise that food security is a big problem here in South Africa and want to be able to contribute something to make a difference.

How can you help? ๐Ÿค” It's simple! We are collecting non-perishable goods for an NPO called STRIVE NPO who will be putting hampers together for the 28th. Even one can would make a difference! ๐Ÿ’š
