After the recent flooding in Pretoria most people residing near our Soshanguve centre lost their homes and were left stranded, GROOTfm 90.5 and Kerksondermure came to the rescue as usual and provided 60 food parcel hampers that consists of

Most of the families 's food were damaged by the rain ,their houses and shacks as well clothes,furnitures were damaged by the heavy rains and flooding,

Most of the dog houses were damaged as well,We have enough pallets,We just need either a cordless nailgun or a automatic screw gun attachment(that attaches to a drilling machine,A cordless grinder to start building dogs kennels which we are going to give out for free,Which will be given to dog owners that will agree to get their dogs sterilized

As usual..This Friday we did our "Walk the dog campaign" Whereby children comes to our centre to get educated about animal welfare,Wash their dogs and walk their dogs around the block,The notion is to create a bond and everlasting friendship between children and their pets,Just after the walk we give them a bag of dog food and give the children hot cooked meals...On the pictures there are more than 50 underage children that cannot go for walks but they always come anyway,I love children and animals and seeing both of them happy is what puts a smile on my face and makes me sleep better at night

The June 24th event was so nice,We invited various stakeholders to educate the youth about consequences of drug abuse and addiction,About teenage pregnancy and consequences of crime,The stakeholders brought along bath soaps and sanitary pads,Inclusive Welfare services NPO managed to give our young girls Sanitary pads,25 pairs of school shoes that were donated by My SPAR ,We also provided them with hotdogs and the Wors was donated by Dawie and Adri from Ikhaya e nyama,Snack packs donated by Corina Koorsen ,Thank you all for providing us with enough supplies and resources to handle such events and to also provide for our underprivileged community

We had our second children immunizations program on the 25th of April 2022,Whereby we invited Boikhutsong clinic to come vaccinate our children for Iyoooo totally forgot but we are doing catch up that children missed during lockdown. Every morning we give school children breakfast,So that they can be able to concentrate at school,Most children are confronted with a lot of challenges, subjected to dire poverty,malnutrition,raised in abusive households and hostile environments, So we thrive to atleast embark on initiatives that can bring us closer to them to ascertain their problems or needs,We feed more than 80 school children per day and that requires atleast 12 loaves of bread,1x1kg peanut butter,1 kg jam,20 litres of juice (we spend +/-R400 per day,)
