Here I am. This could have been prevented if my mom was sterilized by our owner or they asked Grabouw Animal Welfare Society to vaccinate her so that me and my siblings didn't have to be put to sleep today. I got parvo. Please vacconate and sterilize your pets.
It's not pleasant for us to be on the other side of the needle.😞🙏

Meet Marcel, a resilient and loving 2-year-old pitbull cross who has already overcome so much in his young life 🐾. Marcel’s journey began with a rough start—rescued from the beach in the Strand by his former owner, he found himself in a new home in Grabouw. But when his owner relocated, Marcel was tragically left behind, tied up without food or water. Thankfully, our rescue team found him in time, and his life took a turn for the better.

Marcel was in a heartbreaking state when he first arrived at our kennels in May, but with the care and love of his amazing foster mom, Jolanda, he has transformed from an emaciated, scarred pup into a handsome, healthy boy full of life and energy 💪.

Marcel is well-socialized with other adult dogs, thanks to the loving environment of his foster home, which includes five other dogs. However, it’s important to note that he is not small dog or cat-friendly. Marcel will need a forever home with a family who understands and appreciates the unique needs of power breeds 🏡.

This strong, sweet boy deserves a family who will give him the love and security he’s been missing. Strict home checks will apply to ensure Marcel finds the perfect match.

Yesterday we got told about a doggie that had been spotted lying at the golf course for a few days. We couldn't get hold of anyone to gain access, so Amber did the superhero thing ( no cape - would get caught 😁) and rescued him. He's had a health check and is recuperating at the kennels 🐾❤️
