Clementine update: Well…. We have realised that big sister Pippa does some fun things and this morning, both enjoyed perfuming themselves with Eu de Flying Vuvuzela (otherwise known as Hadeda poo!) So even though we are being all pathetic and whimpering, there will be no uppies until we’ve been bathed once the day is a little warmer! As to the fund raising for Clementine’s surgeries, we are delighted to report that we now have the funds and have booked the procedures for early next week. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously contributed to making this happen! Meanwhile, here is more Clementine Spam

Clementine update: It turns out that Clementine is becoming an excellent teacher too! She is teaching Pippa-heffalump how to be more gentle when they play! She is teaching the cats that dogs aren’t always bigger She is teaching the older humans that dynamite does, indeed, come in small packages And she is teaching all that, despite discomfort and disability, life carries on and it’s worth living each day to the fullest! We would like to express our deep and sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed towards Clementine’s dental and knee surgeries. We have raised R4000 so far and are hopeful we will raise the balance soon We are asking if our supporters can find it in themselves to contribute just R50 towards her surgeries as with all our members numbers this could go a good way towards raising the rest we need. Meanwhile, here is some more Clementine spam: Pippa stole Clementine’s ball on a string and teased her for ages. Clementine was NOT impressed!

Clementine update: Well, clearly we are feeling much better now! This little one is a tuff-cookie! She is discovering the sniffs and exploration possibilities of a garden and at the same time, testing out her vocal range in the evenings demanding her “uppies” time. She has decided swimming pools are NOT COOL, but fish ponds are?!? Her cat action, however, leaves much to be desired as she’s realised that she can sneak up on them and give them a moerse skrik, and then stands back laughing as they scatter! We are still trying to raise funds for her two procedures (dental and patella relocation) and would like to sincerely thank those who have already contributed. We still have a little under R7000 to raise, and would really appreciate any contributions our followers could make. Meantime, here is more Clementine-spam!
