Bookings !
Hello. We are now seeing bookings via Booking.com and Trip Advisor, thankfully ! Maybe 2020 will not as bad as we all thought !

I must applaud the Spanish government for the way the pandemic has been handled, and with continued restrictions we can all move forwards.

Beachs are reopened here, as are the bars and restaurants, with restrictions of course including the 2m social distancing

At the moment, face mask are compulsary in public places, but they are available everywhere now.

Flights are still a sore point from UK, most of our new bookings have been from Spain or the likes of Belgium etc. You could always drive !!

I expect my mid July flights from UK will be allowed in, as long as Boris gets his act together.

Please note in line with recommendations, our rental will be fully disinfected post and pre any rental. The communal pool is now open with a maximum allowed in the pool due to social distancing...

Renting with us - minor change to conditions and safeguarding.

Please note, that effective immediately :

All surfaces of our property will be disinfected after rental and pre new arrivals. Our housekeeping will be wearing PPE in the form of gloves and facemask if contact with clients is possible.

When housekeeping is on site, you will also be required to wear said PPE also including mask. All humans over the age of 6 will be required to wear said PPE. Humans under 6 will be expected to be kept away from our staff working.

A distance of 2m is be maintained at all times.

In the common areas, i.e. pool and gardens, a face mask is compulsary for any human over 6 years old.

We hope this situation will not be forever...obviously

Update 31.05.2020

We can reopen for bookings from the 1st July, 2020 and our Trip Advisor and Booking.com pages are now reflecting this along with direct PMs and WhatsAPP via our number below.

The Costa Blanca area is at Fase 2 (phase 2) and with social distancing restrictions we are semi normal now. Obviously flights are a bit wonky until July earliest but internally from Spain you can drive anywhere. Our daily infection rate and death rate in the area is very very low and one of the lowest in Spain as a whole due to diligence on the Spanish peoples part and a Prime Minister that actually knows what he is doing :)

Due to panic cancelling, we have some large gaps in booking availability and i am open for discounts to claw some rental back so hit me up and i will do some deals.

Do not be afraid, just be cautious and stay safe !

Update : 27.05.2020. Spain's Covid19 restrictions have been harsh but fair. Whilst we are closed for bookings until end May, we are looking to change this situation in line with Spain's guidelines for the 7th June. The current state of alarm is due to end on this date, meaning that not only will access to the communal areas, i.e. pool and local beaches be freely allowed, but also flights etc will be resuming shortly from this date from certain countries. Please check your country will be flying to Spain before booking with us on the dates requested before booking please :)

Area wise, we are slowly seeing more and more bars etc open and while they do have restrictions, Spain's people conform alot more to any restrictions meaning its a little safer than you think.

I will more than likely be doing some good deals on the apartment to stimulate some bookings, but feel free to contact me before hand as im keen to get some spaces filled that we lost....

Due to the office relocating to Spain, there may be delays in response times to e-mails / calls between 3rd Jan, 2020 and 12th Jan, 2020. We will still do our best to respond within 48 hrs while we re set up the office in our Sunny new location :)

During this period, we are unable to process any paperwork for new bookings, but are able to take them :)

We are pleased to announce that from Jan 2020 we will be able to offer airport transfers to / from RMU (Region de Murcia International) and Alicante direct to / from Pilar #1, for up to 5 passengers and luggage (within reason). Cost will be €100 return for Murcia RMU and €140 return for Alicante. Payment will be direct to driver. Please enquire about booking this service as an addon when booking, or to add to an existing booking contact us.

p.s. Yes we do have child car seats :)

Sunday weirdnes!! - We apologise if our booking.com listing is showing us a 'not accepting bookings'. For some reason it cleared of our future booking availability and marked us as closed with no pricing information for 2020. I have now sorted this manually and it should list as available again within 24 hrs !. Please bear in mind any booking with booking.com IS 15% more expensive due to fees.

Due to the amount of people taking us over stated capacity this year with 6 adults + kids i have been forced to reduce the stated capacity of Pilar #1 to 4 Adults and 2 Children. Any bookings attempting to bypass this will not be allowed. Sorry.

Trip advisor, booking.com and website + facebook now reflects our new policy on max occupancy for Pilar #1

It will strictly be 6, comprising of no more than 4 adults max and 2 children under 13 max.

We realise that people love a bargain, but fire regulations set in place etc are there for a reason etc :)

Just a note that July and August, 2019 are now completely booked out. We do however still have availability part of Sept and beyond
Prices are still held for 2020 however the new prices are ready to go onto the system soon, so get it quick if you want todays prices for 2020 !

We also have availability for Sept onwards and even Xmas is free at the moment. So if you fancy some warmth xmas week let us know :)

For those that have asked, we currently rent out Pilar #1 long term from Mid Sept to Mid / end April ONLY
Cost is currently £500 per month + £125 towards bills pcm. There is a £500 security deposit and min rental is 1 calendar month.
Perfect for those not wanting to endure the UK Winter :)

2020 Prices.
Hello, the prices per night from January 1st, 2020 are are follows

Pilar #1

Jan 1st - April 6th, 2020 @ £60 per night
April 7th - 17th, 2020 @ £70 per night
April 18th - April 30th, 2020 @ £60 a night
May 1st - 23rd July, 2020 @ £70 a night
24th July - September 3rd, 2020 @ £80 a night
September 4th to December 23rd, 2020 @ £60 a night
December 24th to December 31st, 2020 @ £75 a night

Whilst we are not adjusting for half term, we do feel the main holidays should be a bit more premium priced in line with everyone else that offers accomodation for these dates.

At present (May 8th, 2019), Tripadvisor and booking.com sites still have pre 2020 prices and we will honour these until update (soon)...so its advisable to get in quickly if you want to save :)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RMU REGION DE MURCIA INTERNATIONAL.

Please note that this is a new airport and currently still being finished ! There is literally nothing open at the time of this post once you go through customs bar a very very pricey newsagents that stocks sweets and limited sandwiches. Eat in the Costa cafe before customs or prepare for being bored. Even the duty free shop is quite bare!! Intact arrive as late as you dare into the gates area (everything is close by gate wise no long walks)...consider yourself warned :)

So the new airport at Corvera (RMU Region de Murcia International) is very efficient and clean and modern and some may find this a bit ... characterless... but I was landed to outside even with a case in the hold in 10 mins so very impressed. Travel time by car to Pilar #1 taking the scenic orange grove and quaint village route took less than 30 mins. Happy days.

Pilar #1 - New for 2019 Season. From end March we will have a 'Retro' games console and two controllers in place. This has literally thousands of old arcade classics to keep the kids amused (and for the adults to relive those childhood memories of games like Pacman / Double Dragon / Defender etc)

A quick word about flights to the region at the moment. The new Murcia International Airport (taking over from San Javier) opens on the 15th January, 2019. Any fligtht booked to San Javier WILL auto divert to the new airport. For those wishing to book please note that ONLY RyanAir from Stansted (flying twice a day some days) is available to book past March 2019. All other airlines (i.e. Jet2 / BA / Tui / EasyJet) are still jostling for prime slots at the new airport and this includes new flights from other airports not normally going to the area. Please be patient with them they WILL be flying to the new airport rest assured. If you MUST have those flights booked then look to RyanAir from Stansted for now :) It is exiting times for the area as many many more airports and airlines will be flying to Murcia region soon :)

Pilar #1
The Costa Blanca area is currently in a housing construction boom and alot of new reasonably priced villas and apartments are either being built / already built and or selling (to people renting them out). This has resulted in a bit of an explosion of rental properties the past six months.

Thus we have had a mini review of our prices from this moment forward (excluding bookings for 2019 already on the system - which we will address seperarately), and decided to reduce prices a bit to to remain competitive and return maximum value for money.

Bookings via Bookings.com and TripAdvisor will always be a small amount more expensive due to the fees they impose on us, however across the board changes have been made and are in effect from today for new bookings.

Also, we still have availability for Xmas week 2018 if any one fancies some Xmas winter sun :)
