We are searching for a career driven, well presented and experienced medical receptionist on a full day basis, permanent appointment.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Meet and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
* register new patients and capture insurance information
* register patients with medical aids for wound care authorization
* manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of healthcare providers' time. Coordinate and confirm appointments via phone, email, or messaging system
* handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling as needed
* respond to inquiries from patients, families, and other healthcare providers with professionalism and courtesy
* relay messages accurately and in a timely manner
* perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, emailing and maintaining the office
* taking payments from patients

Qualification:
* Matric
* At least 2 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
* Medical software experience will be an advantage

Working hours
* Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 17h00

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Wound care to clinic patients

- Wound care to home based patients

- application of advanced wound care dressings, under the supervision of a registered nurse

- Stock management

- Documentation and record keeping

SKILLS EXPECTED

- Aseptical wound care techniques

- Basic knowledge of wound care

- Good communication skills

- Driving lisence

- Computer literate + Microsoft Word and Excell

Ons sê dankie vir ons dokters, Worcester Mediclinic, en veral ons pasiente se ondersteuning. Dankie vir elke spanlid wie 'n ongelooflike impak het op ons pasiente, jul is amazing - Chantal, Bercilia, Hester, JamieLee, Maritza, Nicole en Mina. Dankie vir al die verteenwoordigers wat ons ook ondersteun, daar is te veel om te noem!

Mag die jaar wat kom ons sterker en wyser maak, en BAIE wonde gesond maak :)
