MY LIFE TODAY

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
Hebrews 8:12

Today, because of the cross, you are under the new covenant of grace. Now, what does the new covenant hinge on? Beloved, God is so good. The new covenant that God has made is not dependent on anything that you and I must do because He knows that we will always fail. Listen carefully. The new covenant works because of one thing only, and it is the last clause of the new covenant—“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” To the measure that you have a revelation of this clause and all its blessings, to that measure you will walk in it.

Note the word “For.” It means “because.” The new covenant works because God says that He will be merciful to our unrighteousness, and our sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more! “No more” means that there was a time God remembered our sins, even to punish them to the third and fourth generations (Exodus 20:5). This is found in the Ten Commandments. However, today, God says emphatically, “No more!” (It is the double negative that is used in the Greek.) “No more” means that God will never again remember our sins against us because He remembered (to punish) all our sins in the body of His Son. Jesus bore God’s punishment of our sins on the cross. Now, we can walk in the new covenant and hear God say, “Your sins and lawless deeds I remember no more.”

My friend, the new covenant works because of the last clause. In other words, because of Hebrews 8:12, God can put His laws in our minds and write them on our hearts, and all of us can know Him and be led by Him. It is His mercy toward us that enables us to hear Him and be led by Him to victory in every situation!

Win the Battle for Your Mind
For as he thinks within himself, so he is.
Proverbs 23:7, NASB

Be encouraged to know that you don’t have to be afraid of the battles in your mind. Jesus said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Based on God’s Word, right believing is the key that unlocks the treasures of God in your life, giving you access to the fullness of His love, grace, favor, blessings, and forgiveness. Jesus has already paid the price on Calvary’s hill. The hindrance then between you and your victory is your wrong beliefs. The battle has to do with your beliefs.

The enemy knows that if he can control your thought life, he can manipulate your emotions and feelings. For instance, if he can make you entertain thoughts of guilt, failure, and defeat, you will begin to feel lousy about yourself, physically weak, and even depressed.
Our emotions are flags that indicate to us what our thoughts are. Thank God for emotions. They tell us if something is terribly wrong with our thoughts. Many of us are not cognizant when our thinking slides down a slippery slope to fear, doubt, pessimism, and anxiety. However, God has designed us in such a way that we can quickly recognize our thinking through our emotions. Try this: whenever you begin to sense negative emotions, such as fear, worry, guilt, and anger, stop and ask yourself, “What am I thinking?”

Your emotions follow quickly at the heels of your thoughts. If your thoughts are negative, you will naturally produce negative emotions. Conversely, if your thoughts are positive in Christ, you will produce positive emotions.
That is why there is a battle for your mind. The devil wants to keep your thoughts negative so that he can keep you defeated. He is a master of mind games, and he doesn’t play fair. When he first tempted Adam and Eve in the garden, he made them doubt God’s motives by insinuating that God was deliberately withholding something good from them, when in reality God was protecting them. The devil’s strategy hasn’t changed—he is still using fears, lies, accusations, guilt, and condemnation to ensnare believers today and to make them doubt God’s perfect love, forgiveness, and superabounding grace.

My friend, are there areas you are fearful and anxious about today? Realize that those fears and anxieties indicate the presence of wrong beliefs in your life that God wants you to be freed from. Replace those wrong beliefs with right beliefs based on God’s Word, and you will eradicate those fears and anxieties. Through the power of right believing, you will win the battle for your mind.

The answers to everything in this world of ours are provided by the Bible. Let us consider the description of the peace of God: it surpasses all understanding and also has the ability to guard the heart and mind. What kind of peace do you want;the peace of the world or the peace of God? As a believer in Christ Jesus you can use God's peace to judge your choices and decisions.

If you make a choice or a decision and you don't experience the peace of God in it, kindly change it, for God is not with you. The Fourth Man
When the three Hebrew teenagers were thrown into the fiery furnace because they wouldn’t bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol, they were bound with cords. They should have been killed instantly, but when the king gazed into the furnace, he saw four unbound men, and one who looked like the Son of God. Here’s my point: Your hands may be tied today—you’ve worked, prayed, believed, and done the right thing, but it seems like your dream is never going to work out. The good news is that God’s hands are not tied. He’s not limited by what’s limiting you.

I believe that what’s restricted you in the past has lost its grip—that addiction, that sickness, that lack, the bad breaks. It’s a new day. The fourth man has shown up. Like the Hebrew teenagers, you’re coming out, not bound but loosed, free, whole, vindicated, promoted, with that dream you were believing for. Your hands are not tied anymore. God is releasing you into new levels of your destiny in 2022.

“Father, thank You for the birth of Your Son as a baby in Bethlehem. Thank You that I can join with the angels of heaven and give You all the praise and glory for what You’ve done. I come before You and bow my knees and heart and offer You my worship. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalms 100:5

One nature of God is that He is good; He even gives rain and sunshine to everyone due to His goodness. His mercy truly is everlasting; since the day of Adam and Eve to this present age, His mercy is still active. His truth which is His Word transcends all generations. Goodness, mercy, and truth are all the nature of God. The Lord cannot change: He cannot stop doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth. As children of God and partakers of His divine nature, let us imitate God by doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14

The language that God communicates is very vital in understanding the scriptures. Jesus Christ sees those who die in him as sleeping (John 11:11); the reason is that He sees eternal life in them, therefore, they are not dead but alive. Believers should embrace the language of God and refrain from weeping and wailing for the dead in Christ as though they have no hope. In Christ, death is a choice because the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).

Speak Faith-Filled Words
Words are powerful. A teenage girl named Mary became pregnant, not by a man, but by a word from God. The angel Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Mary, you are highly favored! You will conceive and have a baby without knowing a man. He will be the Messiah, the Son of God.” When God wants to create, He doesn’t use material things; He uses words. Mary could have said to the angel, “That’s impossible. It’s never happened before.” Instead she said, “Be it unto me even as you have said.” She got in agreement with God. She used her words to confirm what she heard, not to debate what she heard.

When God puts a promise in your heart, just agree with Him. The Scripture says, “By His stripes you are healed.” Don’t debate it. “I don’t feel healed. My back is still sore.” Get in a habit of speaking faith-filled words. “Lord, thank You that I am healed. Be it unto me even as You have said.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for Your promise to Mary that she had found favor with You and she would give birth to Your Son. Thank You that no word from You has ever failed. I believe that I am highly favored, and Your words to me will be fulfilled. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

The Word of God has clearly defined the place of the devil in relation to the children of God. The devil and his cohorts of darkness have been placed under the feet of the children of God. This shows total dominion over the devil and his cohorts of darkness. In the New Testament Jesus Christ declared that he had given the disciples the authority to trample the snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing would by any means hurt them (Luke 10:19). As a child of God never fear the devil and his cohorts of darkness; instead trample over them in warfare prayer. Always keep the devil and his cohorts where they belong - under your feet. Jesus loves you.

You are created for a great purpose. God never made mistakes by bringing you to the planet earth. Never allow anyone to be little you or degrade you to lose focus. You are not there yet doesn't mean you will not be there. God is a God of time and season. Comparing yourself with others success is very dangerous but rather believing God and been purposeful will land you in an Everlasting ocean of success. I see you there!!! Remember the difference between "here and there" is the letter "T". Don't allow the letter "T" to prevent you to get there.
