A warm Welcome to all Freshmen!
Success Begins At Cavendish Law Association.!
As Vice President of the Cavendish University-Zambia Law Association I find myself being very monotonous with my style and outfit choices due to requirements of the profession. Yesterday I attended the JCI Business Summit and decided to go for the formal but classy look as opposed to my usual just formal look. Here's tips on how to show up to an event looking formal😉 but classy‼️.
1. Fancy Blouse: Preferably a lighter colour or n**e colour. Design must be unique.
2. Cover those toes!. Wear closed toe heels ladies!. This maintains the formalness of the outfit to fit the event.
3. Make-up: go for a simpler make-up look nothing too bright. I decided to match my eye shadow with my shirt to make it pop but still maintained a natural look.
4. Handbag: depends on your taste. I went for a small black bag to keep the colours balanced.
5. Hair: depends on your preference, I am more of a wig person. If you are into braids then i recommend a bun or ponytail 😘.
🚨Good Afternoon CUZ LAW ASSOCIATION. 🚨
The moot court Coaching classes are scheduled to commence tommorow. We are calling for an interested individual to moderate the online coaching classes. To Qualify:
1. You must be already registered with the coaching classes.
2. Must be available for all the sessions.
The Cavendish University Moot Court Society, in collaboration with the CUZ Law Association, brings to you a very exciting and career-changing opportunity: for the very first time at Cavendish University, there will be an inter-class Moot Court Competition, as detailed in the attachment thereto. To ensure that the competition is as competitive as it can be, we have made collaborative and intentional moves to provide a platform for a 7-Day (ONLINE) intense Moot Court Training (Coaching) to run from July 24th, 2023, to July 31st, 2023, and will cover a wide array of topics from the basics to the practical aspect of a moot, which is open to all Law Students at Cavendish University Zambia. All you need to do is fill out the Google Form below, and you will be added to the classes. These trainings are encouraged for all students, as they will enable us all to be on equal footing as far as MOOT is concerned.

For those that have not yet received do remain patient as they are still being released and hopefully by the end of the day we will have all received our results. As per the revised Academic calendar, registration for continuing students will commence tommorow Monday. Do find time to complete the registration process‼️. And lastly wishing everyone all the best💯👏🏼.

MEMORANDUM
To: All Students at Cavendish University Zambia
=============================================================================
From: Joseph Bk Bwalya, UNION President
Date: July 4th, 2023
Subject: Constitution Review Meeting at Longacres Campus
Dear Students,
I hope this memo finds you well. I am writing to inform you about my attendance at a constitution reviewing meeting at the Longacres Campus (medical campus) on July 3rd, 2023.
As your UNION President, it is my responsibility to ensure that your voices are heard, and your rights are protected. To achieve this, it is crucial to periodically review and update our constitution. The constitution acts as a guiding document, outlining the framework within which our UNION operates and the rights and responsibilities of its members.
Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending a meeting held at the Longacres Campus, specifically dedicated to reviewing our constitution. The purpose of this meeting was to analyze the existing constitution, identify areas that require updating or improvement, and propose amendments that align with the current needs and aspirations of our student body.
The meeting was attended by a diverse group of individuals, including the law president, faculty members, student representatives, and other key stakeholders. Through open discussions, valuable insights were shared, and suggestions were made to ensure that our constitution remains relevant, inclusive, and reflective of our students' interests.
I am pleased to inform you that the meeting was highly productive, and several important recommendations were made. These recommendations will now be thoroughly examined and refined by a committee composed of both students and faculty members. Once this process is complete, a revised version of the constitution will be presented to you for your input and approval.
sometimes we understand better from fellow students than in class. This initiative is to ensure no one is left behind!
Get in touch with your class representatives to find out when you are having your tutorials.
