We are excited to share the official announcement of the EFC Zambia Credit Rating by Premier Rating Services limited. EFC was rated A, making it the first Microfinance Institution to obtain an A rating in Zambia. The announcement was made today at a Media Briefing in Lusaka by PRS CEO Mr. Dionysius Makunka alongside EFC Zambia Board Director Ms. Helen Samatebele.

Today, Col. Mwizukanji Namwawa, Executive Director of the PUSH Women’s Network and her team visited the EFC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Bedah Salasini at his office in Lusaka. During the meeting, the two discussed matters of mutual interest. Key among the issues is the need to empower, not only women, but all MSMEs who account for about 75% of the Zambian economy with mentorship, business development and financial support while at the same time driving inclusivity. EFC Zambia is one of the country’s leading enterprise lending Microfinance Institutions with a wide range of products to carter to different segments of the business community. PUSH is the organisation behind the Lusaka Business Expo and Summit which takes place annually in Lusaka.
