Coach Flo attended the Lusaka International Community School’s Sports & Arts Awards which was held on 6th June 2024 not as a PE Teacher/Coach but as a Guest of Honor.

LICS celebrated the exceptional talents of its students who had shown remarkable skills, passion and commitment either on the field of Sports or other fields.

“It's truly an honor to stand here today, back at LICS where my passion for football coaching Journey received a face lift. I am deeply grateful to be invited back to share a glimpse of my journey with all of you at this Annual Awards Ceremony” coach Flo said.

In her speech she extended her heartfelt gratitude to Mr. H, whose unwavering support and belief allowed her to express herself. She further said that his guidance was instrumental in shaping not only her coaching philosophy but also in approach to life.

“Behind every achievement, there are countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance. There were moments of doubt and setbacks along the way, but it's in those moments that I learned the most valuable lessons” she said.

She testified the fact that dreams do come true if one is willing to chase them relentlessly, she encouraged everyone to pursue their dreams relentlessly Whether in Sports, Academics, Arts, or any other pursuit, and never underestimate the power of their ambitions.

In her conclusion Coach Flo urged the LICS Students to embrace every opportunity that comes their way, to believe in themselves even when others express doubt, never be afraid to chase their dreams wholeheartedly and to remember that the sky's always the limit when you dare to dream.
