Joseph is in prison after being accused falsely by Potiphar's wife,the bible tells us that even in prison the favour of God located him & was put incharge of the other prisoners.But one day two of his fellow prisoners had strange dreams each & in the morning they were very sad but Joseph noticed them(Genesis 40:5-8).After the interpretation of their dreams was made known to them,Joseph pleaded with the cupbearer to say,"speak well of me to Pharaoh"( Genesis 40:14-15) and it happened exactly as Joseph had spoken,in three days time they were released from prison,the cupbearer was restored back to his position but the chief beaker was beheaded.The cupbearer forgot about Joseph and moved on.Beloveds in Christ Jesus,you maybe in the same situation today,where the people you helped in the past have forgotten about you & they are mocking you now because thing are not well in your life.This evening I want to encourage you never to lose faith in your God who's more than able,soon your good works will be remembered. Make it your aim to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living, just as we told you before. In this way you will win the respect of those who are not believers, and you will not have to depend on anyone for what you need.

LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE.

We live in an age where people are not afraid to have double barrel names or surnames copied from their celebrities. Most of what we admire from others is a "copy and paste" into our lives. Hence mostly we fail to live up to the expectations.

Sometimes it is good to be your own and stop on looking at those people who are above you on the rungs of success. You spend so much time looking at life on their rung such as the car they drive, house they live in, clothes they wear, food they eat, and social events they enjoy that when you look down at your rung beneath them you find yourself unhappy.

Every day, we are bombarded with social media where people share with us everything from the house they live in, to the clothes they buy, car they drive, and food they eat. Only those who want to climb their own ladder without comparing their lives to others make it. If Jesus was around today how many people were going to say "Jesus Christ of Nazareth is my celebrity". Riding on a donkey and not a Mercedes-Benz?

How many miserable celebrities are there far above us on the ladder of success? We follow them on social media, hear about them on tabloid television, talk about them, obsess over them, and imitate them. Then, we hear that they are getting divorced, entering rehab, depressed, or even taking their own life. It makes you wonder if being a normal person, living a normal life, with some normal friends would not be a better option than an abnormal life that is crushing.

Lastly, Do you know who you are, why were you born and what you want in life? If so live according to "1 Thessalonians 4:11"
