Five year old girl defiled, murdered

A five year old girl of Kafue's Zambia compound has allegedly been defiled and murdered by a known person.
Police Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA has identified the victim as YVONNE MANYANGANYA and the suspect as MOSES MUPETA, aged 25, of the same area.
Mr. HAMOONGA says the incident happened last week around 09 hours, as the victim was going to school.
He says MUPETA lured the girl who was in the company of her colleague of the same age to the nearby bush and defiled her before killing her and burying her with leaves.
Mr. HAMOONGA says the suspect has been apprehended and will be formally charged after a postmodern is conducted.
And the mother of the victim CHARITY MANYANGANYA has called for justice in the matter.
