Life As Guided By God's Word
How Old Do I Look I Am...
Happy Sabbath
THIS IS DEEP!
Church, Leaders, Pastors, Friends, pay much attention!
“So, please, for the love of God stop saying things like this when people need ACTUAL help and ACTUAL advice for their problems and issues.
If someone is drowning because of an issue that is plaguing them such that they cannot even think straight, telling them to "just pray about it" is not what they need in this situation.
In fact, the Bible says something similar to this in the book of James,
"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:15-17)
This is equivalent to saying "just pray about it" or "I will just pray for you."
It's important that Scripture actually commands us to not just use our words, but to actually help people and serve them,
"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:18)
The people in the church are hurting and no one even knows, as Leaders and Pastors it is your dutty to help not by just praying but by taking a time and guiding them. SPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE SERVING!! They are always giving but not receiving, they need that one on one.
Don't *just* pray about it.
Don't *just* tell them to pray about it.
Don't *just* offer words of exhortation.
Humble yourself and to actually SERVE and HELP those who are drowning in sorrows, in issues, and in problems. Do not judge but offer guidance and dicipline.
That's what Jesus did.
Keep Thinking!

The Story of Joseph
The divine authorship of the Bible can be seen in the glimpses of Christ that we get from Old Testament stories. Joseph is a type, or symbol, of Jesus Christ and Joseph’s story reveals many details about the life of Jesus and the plan of salvation. Here are just some of the typologies in the story of Joseph.
- Joseph was the firstborn of Rachel (Genesis 30:22-24); Jesus was firstborn of Mary (Matthew 1:25).
- Joseph was a shepherd (Genesis 37:2); Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11).
- Joseph was beloved of his father (Genesis 37:2); God said of Jesus, “This is My beloved Son” (Matthew 3:17).
- Joseph’s brothers treated him with contempt (Genesis 37:4-5, 11); Jesus’ brothers treated Him with contempt (John 7:3-5).
- Joseph was prophesied to be a ruler (Genesis 37:5-11); Jesus was prophesied to be a ruler (Daniel 7:14).
- Joseph was sent by his father to his brothers (Genesis 37:13); Jesus was sent by His Father to His brethren, the children of Israel (Mark 9:37; John 5:24, 13:20).
- Joseph’s coat was stripped from him (Genesis 37:23); Jesus’ coat was stripped from Him (John 19:23).
- Joseph was sold by Judah (Genesis 37:26-27); Jesus was sold by Judas (Greek form of Judah) (Matthew 26:15).
- Joseph was sold as a slave (Genesis 37:26-28); Jesus was betrayed for the price of a slave (Exodus 21:32).
- Joseph went to Egypt (Genesis 37:28); Jesus went to Egypt (Matthew 2:13-15).
- Joseph was falsely accused (Genesis 39:11-20); Jesus was falsely accused (Matthew 26:59-61).
- God was with Joseph (Genesis 39:21); God was with Jesus (Luke 2:52).
- Joseph was filled with the Holy Spirit (Genesis 41:38); Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1).
- Joseph had the life-saving solution (Genesis 41:33); Jesus is the only life-Saver (John 6:35).
- The king raised Joseph out of the dungeon and made him ruler of Egypt (Genesis 41:40-44); God has highly exalted Jesus and made Him ruler of all (Philippians 2:9-11).
- Joseph’s brothers didn’t recognize him (Genesis 42:7-8); Jesus’ people didn’t recognize Him as their Saviour (John 1:10).
- Joseph was a saviour (Genesis 47:25); Jesus is the Saviour (Luke 2:11, Acts 13:23).

🪔📜 *THE GREATEST WANT OF THE WORLD...!10 JUNE*
_Welcome for our devotion today.._
_Present your pettion to God..._
_Beloved *Humans needs are insatiable..!*_
_They are endless. They are quite diverse...!_
_*Despite this fact, man has one common Want..* that is mandatory and so pressing that cant wait...!_
_*Have you any idea of what it is...?*_
_*Is power,* Peace, Education, *Water, Health....?*_
_*What is the greatest want of the world..!*_
_*Have you identified any..?*_
— - -
_Read *Ephesians 5:11*_
_“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”_
_📌 There is a pressing need rather say, want that we cant just keep quiet about...! Beloved to want is to be necessary or to eb in need of. *When something is needed it means,* it lacks. What is the missing in the world today...? What is it that is lacking in the world? *Is it money..?* Is *it food..*? Is it health? Is it *employment..?* What is it? What is the Greatest want of the World...?_
_📌 *The greatest want of the world* is the want of men— *men who will not be bought or sold,* men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to *call sin by its right name,* men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, *men who will stand for the right* though the heavens fall._
_📌 *Two commands are offered in this verse.* First, believers are to *completely avoid participating in sin.* Paul's command here implies that *sin is a waste of time and associated with darkness*, which is opposed to the light of those living for Christ._
_📌 Beloved, *Many professed Christians* are well represented by *the vine that is trailing* upon the ground and *entwining its tendrils about the roots and rubbish* that lie in its path. We can't stoop this low.... picking and imitating everything...? *Is this oir calling..?*_
_📌 To all such the message comes, *“Come out* from among them, and *be ye separate,* saith the Lord, and *touch not the unclean thing;* and I will receive you, and will be *a Father unto you,* and *ye shall be my sons and daughters,* saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17, 18)...!_
_📌 The *second command is a contrast* to merely avoiding sin, instruction to unmask or point out what is sinful. This does not mean *speak in graphic detail* about certain sinful actions (Ephesians 5:12). However, *believers must define right and wrong* and encourage others (and themselves) to live according to *what is right.*_
_📌 There are *conditions to meet* if we would be blessed and *honored by God.* We are to separate *from the world* and refuse to touch those things that will *separate our affections from God.*_
_📌 *This is a powerful counter* to the frequent charge against Christians of being "judgmental." While we must use righteous, humble judgment (John 7:24), we are actually commanded as believers to point out sin, for the benefit of others (James 5:20)._
_📌 *This need to expose sin requires* believers to avoid particular actions, encouraging purity and unity in the *body of Christ.*_
_📌 The Greatest want of the world is Christ..! True discipleship..! *This includes a careful personal life* (Ephesians 5:15), wisdom (Ephesians 5:15), *a productive use* of time (Ephesians 5:16), focusing on God's will (Ephesians 5:17), and *joining together with other believers* for worship (Ephesians 5:18–20)._
_📌 I exhort you brethren to *be of good courage and stand for the Lord* for God is asking, "Whom shall I send, And *who will go for Us?"* ( Isa 6:8) Will you stand firmly and *courageously for God?* This is not for the faint hearted. And so friends... *Are you strong enough?* Are you the man the world wants?_
