ZCDC's Exploration Manager Mr. Hopewell Mvura presented an overview of the company's mandate and functions to the Portfolio Committee on Mines and Mining Development at the ongoing induction workshop in Bulawayo. He emphasized ZCDC's commitment to unlocking sustainable diamond value for the benefit of Zimbabwe, achieved through expedited diamond exploration, mining, processing, and sales, ultimately contributing to the country's economic growth and development.

ZCDC came first at the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe North Zone First Aid Competitions 2024 ,under the Surface category last week on Friday. winning team.

Today, our team had an exciting day participating in the National Clean Up Campaign at Coppa Cabana bus terminus led by Ministry of Mines, MMCZ and surrounding local participants. We also cleaned in Chiadzwa and together, we made a positive impact on our environment!

ZCDC's Chimanimani operations were on Friday recognised after the country's leading diamond producer was ranked third during the Surface Mining Category at the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe South Zone competition held under the theme: "Preserving Lives - First Aid the cornerstone of Mining Safety". The event was hosted by Zimbabwe School of Mines, which is celebrating their 90th anniversary.

We are saddened by the passing on of ZCDC’s Security Services member Gift Masendeke in the early hours of 23 May 2024, in Harare. He was indeed an invaluable member of the ZCDC team since April 2017. Our prayers are with the Masendeke family during this sad period.
