The gorgeous new addition to the studio - the Penhill Watermelon paper dahlia! This coral beauty is absolutely stunning. I was initially hesitant to make it, but I finally conquered my fears and tried making it with Chinese crepe paper first 🙃. Next, I can't wait to elevate it with Italian paper, adding intricate veins and perfectly shaping the petals.

Capturing the intricacy and beauty of my recently updated garden paper roses in close-up shots has been a great reminder of the progress I've made as a paper florist. It's incredibly fulfilling to refine my craft, and I'm eager to experiment with creating them in white as well. Soon wink wink 😉.Documenting and refining my construction methods during these moments is essential, and I vividly remember creating my first rose with cardstock three years ago. Seeing the progress I've made fills me with so much joy.❤️.
