Institute of Management Technology, Dubai is excited to announce the successful conclusion of our 3-day Faculty Development Program on Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

For three days, our faculty members from IMT Dubai, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur and Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad discussed a range of topics, which are critical to navigate the complexities of modern supply chains. From exploring future trends to understanding the intricacies of sustainable supply chains, each session provided valuable insights and practical strategies for research and teaching.

A special thanks to our distinguished resource person, Professor Michael Bourlakis (Director of Research for Cranfield School of Management and Head of the Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management Group) and guest speakers, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed (Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Birmingham, Dubai Campus, and Mr. Sudheesh Nambiath ( Manager, DMCC) for their unique insights from academia and industry.

As part of our Academic-Industry engagement activity, the Office of Career Services at Institute of Management Technology, Dubai organized a Corporate-Academic meet with esteemed industry leaders, faculty members, and students.

Dr. Julien Cayla (Associate Professor of Marketing, Nanyang Technological University Singapore) shared valuable insights on channeling emotional energy positively in the workplace and daily life. Examples like Swiftmania, Liverpool anthem, and Club Med illustrated how emotional energy transforms into a collective experience. We also divulged into how customer interactions contribute to instilling emotional energy in frontline employees, setting the stage for meaningful interactions among industry leaders.

IMT Dubai recently concluded a highly enriching 3-day Faculty Development Program on Academic Writing, led by the distinguished Professor Julien Cayla (Associate Professor of Marketing, Nanyang Technological University) and Ms. Tanvi Mehta (Principal at Mehtatext, academic editor, instructor, and writing coach for business academics). This collaborative initiative brought together faculty members from IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad, and IMT Dubai.

The program featured engaging and interactive sessions designed to equip participants with invaluable frameworks, tools, and approaches to enhance their skills in academic writing and publishing.
