With the desire to create a collective experience that values diversity and redefines the notion of power and beauty, Ermira Goro creates “Meetings” of very different people, – gender, ethnicity, body, age, ability – in an attempt to disconnect viewers from the dancer’s identification with a body youthful, muscular, trained, “perfect”.

Antonio de Rosa është drejtori artistik, koreografi dhe bashkëthemeluesi i Kor’sia. Këtë vit në IDFT, së bashku me bashkëkrijuesin Matti Russo, ai prezanton shfaqjen "Mont Ventoux" më 26 shtator. Frymëzuar nga ngjitja e Petrarkës në Mont Ventoux, kolektivi KOR'SIA kërkon përgjigje nga e kaluara humaniste për konfliktet që na propozohen nga një ndryshim paradigme i shekullit të 21-të: krijimi i një individi të aftë për të rindërtuar vetveten dhe planetin.

This year at IDFT, together with co-creator Matti Russo, he will showcase "Mont Ventoux" on Septmber 26th. Inspired by Petrarch's Ascent of Mont Ventoux, the KOR'SIA collective seeks answers from the humanist past for the conflicts being proposed to us by a 21st-century paradigm shift: the construction of an individual capable of rebuilding themselves and the planet.

Festivali Ndërkombëtar i Kërcimit, Tiranë (IDFT) fton të gjithë që kanë dëshirë të bëhen pjesë e shfaqjes së kërcimit të koreografes së mirënjohur Ermira Goro më 5 Tetor. Ftesa është e hapur për këdo mbi 18 vjeç, me përvoja të mëparshme kërcimi ose jo, si dhe këngëtarë/e.

Angelin Preljocaj
I lindur në Paris në një familje shqiptare, Angelin Preljocaj nisi të studiojë kërcim klasik para se të kthehej te kërcimi bashkëkohor, nën mentorimin e Karin Waehner. Preljocaj bashkëpunon shpesh me emrat më të mëdhenj të botës së kërcimit, por edhe të muzikës, modës, dizainit, letërsisë dhe teknologjisë, duke ndërthurur kështu fusha të ndryshme të artit. Ai ka fituar disa çmime për punën e tij dhe njihet dhe lavdërohet nga profesionistët e vallëzimit dhe më gjerë. Prej disa vitesh, ky ish - kërcimtar po zhvillon një qasje të re koreografike, në të cilën ai krijon një dialog midis trupave të vallëtarëve dhe imazhit, përmes teknologjive të reja. Angelin Preljocaj po nis një aventurë të re në një shtet që zë një vend të veçantë në historinë e tij personale. Angazhimi i tij si Drejtor Artistik i Festivalit Ndërkombëtar të Kërcimit, Tiranë është më shumë se një rikthim i thjeshtë në Shqipëri. Mbi të gjitha, është një homazh i sinqertë ndaj një vendi, që ruan një rëndësi të madhe në zemrën e tij, një mënyrë për të treguar dashurinë dhe mirënjohjen e tij ndaj kombit të vet.

Born in the Parisian region from Albanian parents, Angelin Preljocaj began studying classical dance before turning to contemporary dance with Karin Waehner, Zena Rommett, Merce Cunningham, Viola Farber and Quentin Rouillier. Working at the crossroads of the arts, the choreographer frequently teams up with the biggest names in dance, but also in eclectic musical genres, fashion, design, literature and new technological writing. Regularly rewarded for his work, he is recognised and acclaimed by his peers and beyond. For several years now, this former dancer has been developing a new choreographic approach in which he establishes a dialogue between the dancers’ bodies and the image through new technologies. Angelin Preljocaj is embarking on a new adventure in a country that occupies a special place in his personal history. His commitment as Artistic Director of the International Dance Festival of Tirana is a sincere tribute to a country that holds great importance in his heart, a way for him to show his love and gratitude to this nation.

The invitation is addressed to people of all ages who are either familiar with the art of dance or have no previous experience, as well as to singers. The International Dance Festival of Tirana (IDFT) invites all those who wish to participate in the choreographic work of the acclaimed choreographer Ermira Goro on October 5th. The invitation is open to individuals of all ages, whether they are familiar with the art of dance or have no previous experience.
The group will have 8 practice sessions from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on September 25-26-27-30 and October 1-3-4-5 at Vila 31
