📣 We are pleased to announce that on April 26, 2024, a new branch of ClinChoice, a global contract research company, was officially opened in Gyumri.

➽ Since 2021, Enterprise Armenia has been providing investment aftercare support services to the company, facilitating the successful launch and further reinvestment of its initiatives within Armenia.

🇦🇲🇨🇾 On April 26, 2024, the "Armenia - Cyprus: Business Perspectives" forum was held in Yerevan, in collaboration with the Association of Armenian Entrepreneurs and the Cypriot "Successful Business Leaders’ Club". The forum explored opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment, high technology, innovation, finance, and energy.

➽ Within the framework of the event, Tatevik Nersisyan, the Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations Manager at Enterprise Armenia, presented the investment opportunities and advantages of doing business in the Republic of Armenia to entrepreneurs.

Upon the conclusion of the forum, bilateral entrepreneurial meetings were conducted between representatives from Armenia and Cyprus.

➽ On April 18, 2024, Levon Ohanesyan, the General Director of Enterprise Armenia, held a working meeting with H.E. Mr Fabio Vaz Pitaluga, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Armenia.

🎉 We're pleased to announce that the Serbian company CENTROPROJEKT is expanding to Armenia!

➽ On April 13, 2024, GreenRock Management Group, facilitated by the Enterprise Armenia, and the Serbian company CENTROPROJEKT signed a memorandum to establish a joint venture.

The newly formed entity, CENTROPROJEKT GR, is already benefiting from comprehensive support under the Aftercare service of the Enterprise Armenia. Over the coming years, it will provide a wide range of planning, design, and management services in Armenia and the region.

The memorandum signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Tatjana Panajotović Cvetković, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to Armenia, along with representatives from Enterprise Armenia.

➽ On March 27, the Armenian-Kazakh Business Forum took place in Yerevan, organized through collaborative efforts from the Union of Manufacturers & Businessmen of Armenia, the Astana Diplomatic Club, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Armenia, and the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Kazakhstan. The forum focused on exploring the existing potential and future prospects of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Tatevik Galoyan, Manager of Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations at Enterprise Armenia, delivered a presentation highlighting the investment climate of Armenia and the opportunities available for conducting business within the event's framework. ➽ On March 13, 2024, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Federal Republic of Germany, Enterprise Armenia participated in “Zukunftstag Mittelstand 2024”, the Annual International Business Forum in Berlin, Germany.

During the Forum Gurgen Karamyan, Manager of Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations, presented Armenia’s investment climate and business opportunities to potential investors, as well as provided individual consultations to foreign entrepreneurs at Armenia’s national booth. The Forum hosted more than 5000 businessmen from all over the world.

Մասնավորապես՝ նշվել է, որ 2023 թվականի ընթացքում Հիմնադրամ է դիմել ավելի քան 410 գործարար և ներդրող։ Աշխատանքներ են տարվել 140-ից ավելի ներդրումային նախաձեռնությունների ուղղությամբ, որոնցից 60-ը միայն ներգրավվել են 2023 թվականի ընթացքում: Հաշվետու տարում Հիմնադրամի աջակցությամբ մեկնարկել են 24 նոր ներդրումային ծրագրեր, որոնցից նախատեսվող ներդրումների ծավալը շուրջ 800 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար է:

Զեկուցվել է նաև, որ Հիմնադրամի կողմից հետներդրումային սպասարկման ծառայություն ներկայումս տրամադրվում է 166 ընկերության: Տվյալ ծառայության շրջանակում առկա են 43.7 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար ծավալով 9 վերաներդրումային նախաձեռնություններ:

Վարչապետը ծանոթացել է նաև Հայաստանի՝ որպես ներդրումային գրավչությամբ առանձնացող երկրի առաջմղման, օտարերկրյա ուղղակի ներդրումների ներգրավման և կենտրոնի կողմից մատուցվող ծառայությունների թվայնացման ուղղությամբ 2024 թվականին նախատեսվող աշխատանքներին:

Տեղեկացվել է, որ նախատեսվում է հիմնել մարզային ներդրումային թվային քարտեզ-պորտալ, սոցիալ-տնտեսական ինդեքսների և ռեյթինգների համեմատական պորտալ: Ներդրվելու է նաև կայքի միջոցով շահառուների սպասարկումն արհեստական բանականության կիրառմամբ գործիք:

➽ Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Enterprise Armenia to review the Agency’s 2023 activity report and discuss the upcoming initiatives for the current year.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan and Tigran Khachatryan, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office Armenak Khachatryan, Deputy Head of the State Supervision Service Robert Bazikyan, and Levon Ohanesyan, the General Director of Enterprise Armenia, alongside other officials.

During the consultation, the Prime Minister was briefed on Enterprise Armenia's extensive efforts throughout 2023. These efforts primarily focused on facilitating both foreign and local investors by providing comprehensive “one-stop-shop” services, providing aftercare support for foreign investors already established in Armenia, and actively promoting Armenia's investment potential to attract new foreign direct investments.

Specifically, it was highlighted that over 410 entrepreneurs and investors received assistance from Enterprise Armenia in 2023. More than 140 investment proposals were evaluated, with 60 initiatives advancing within the same year. Notably, 24 new investment projects were successfully initiated with the Enterprise Armenia’s support, amounting to approximately $800 million in planned investments.

Furthermore, the ongoing investment aftercare support provided by Enterprise Armenia extends to 166 companies, including 9 reinvestment initiatives totaling $43.7 million in volume.

In addition to reviewing past achievements, Prime Minister Pashinyan also discussed the agenda for 2024. This entails a strategic focus on elevating Armenia's profile as a highly attractive investment destination, bolstering efforts to attract foreign direct investments, and modernizing the services offered by the Agency.

Notable plans include the establishment of a regional investment digital map-portal, the development of a comparative portal showcasing socio-economic indices and ratings, and the integration of artificial intelligence tools to enhance user experience and support beneficiaries through the Agency's website.

🇦🇲🇪🇬 During Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt on March 5, 2024, the Egyptian-Armenian Business Forum took place at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan extended a warm welcome to the forum attendees, highlighting Armenia's economic growth indicators and the sectors with notable investment potential. Speeches were also delivered by the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt Ahmed Samir, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ahmad el-Wakil, and RA Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan.

🇦🇲🇬🇷 On February 27, 2024, during the working visit of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Greece, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the national investment promotion agencies of the Republic of Armenia and the Hellenic Republic: Enterprise Armenia and EnterpriseGreece.
