Maybe you were so lucky to see this year’s edition of Escapade viennoise on France 2, a very popular Vienna related French TV show presented after the New Year’s Concert.

Stéphane Bern was visiting Maison Köchert to find out more about the secrets of Vienna’s most sought after court jeweller of the time. It was a pleasure welcoming him, hopefully soon again.

3, 2, 1… Happy New Year!! If your New Year's resolution is being more punctual, we have a little tool to help on offer.

This antique Köchert Belle Epoque ladies pocket watch might well have belonged to Katharina Schratt as it bears the initials KS.

We still have to do some more research, but so far we found different design drawings obviously on the same project, which could mean they have been shown to Emperor Franz Joseph to choose which one he thought fit to make a good present to his long-time mistress.

To see Bruno's impeccable 1970ies style, coming back to life by this peak into his family album, conjures a smile on our faces.

We owe him a lot for his tireless efforts since the 1940ies and for more than seven decades, who would believe it!

Tiara time!

This year's Opera Ball debutants have been practising for weeks and are already excited about the glamorous opening ceremony live broadcasted nationally tonight.
