Time to say goodbye! 🥲
After being a Predator Pro player for the last 3 years it‘s time to move on and look out for a new challenge!
I decided to not extend my contract for the new year with Predator but I am very grateful and happy that I got the opportunity to be part of the strongest team in our sport, stacked with world class players.
I want to thank the whole team, especially Karim, Vincent, Huidji and JP for their trust and their support! Thank you guys, it was a pleasure!! 🤗

3rd place at the World 8-Ball Championships 🥉

Congrats to the other guys on the podium, the winner Shane Van Boening, runner up Sanjin Pehlivanović and tied 3rd Wojciech Szewczyk! Great tournament guys 👏

I played a very good tournament, very consistent on my breaks and very little errors throughout the event!

My first medal at a World Championships and I couldn‘t be happier to spend that momemt with 2 very special people!

My coach Bernhard Kaserer, who helped me to prepare for every match, who always finds the right words and who is there for me in good and bad times! For almost 23 years we are on the same team, he breathes pool and thinks about how to help me in my game almost 24/7! But I also learned a lot in general from him and he had a huge impact on who I am today. I couldn‘t imagine a better coach on my side! THANK YOU ❤️

And the second guy I want to mention is Manuel Raingruber, who made his way to Klagenfurt starting on saturday at 4am, leaving work and everything behind him, just to be there and cheer for me and sit in my corner! The day we started working on my mental game I knew that this could be a gamechanger - here we go 😎 thank you very very much 😍

Unfortunately Gerhard Pardeller could‘t make it on time, but we will meet later today, eat Schnitzel and figure out how to get myself in shape again soon 😵‍💫😂😘

Where should I start?

Vietnam and its people is the perfect match for every pool enthusiast! I have experienced the best pool trip in my life, the food, the fans, the city of Hanoi, everything was perfect 😍
Especially a big shoutout to all the fans, I really appreciate all your kind words and the love you showed before, during and after the event 🥰

Poolwise I did a good job, played some really nice matches in the Peri Open (17th) and the Hanoi Open (9th) and I really can‘t wait to go back next year!

Congrats to and for snapping off the events, I still feel heartbroken about the way Albin lost the final yesterday 💔

Quarterfinal finish at this year‘s US Open! 💪

Played a more than decent event this year in Atlantic City, just fell short to the little monster 柯秉中 who won the event in the end! Congrats on an incredible tournament my friend 👏
Also a great event by this year‘s runner-up Fedor Gorst who’s game I admire a lot!
And obviously I am really happy for my Serbian bro Aleksa Pecelj for his 3rd place - you showed the world what a great talent you are! Bravo pi*ku 😆

Spanish Open with an exit too early compared to how I played I guess.
The result not always shows the level of the game and vice versa.
Very happy with my performance, lost in the Last 64 stage to a very strong .martian 👊

It was by far the toughest equipment I ever played on, 4 inch pockets and high humidity made it super tough to play, but I enjoyed every second in this wonderful arena here in Lugo 🤩
Was a pleasure to take part in another masterclass event! 🥳

Not the result or the performance I was looking for at the 2023 World Pool Masters.
Won my first match against Modammad Soufi but fell short in the second one against Niels Feijen. Sturggeled throughout the whole match and never could find the right gear to put him under pressure.
Nevertheless it was a great event by as always 🤩
Can‘t wait for the upcoming UK Open in less than 2 weeks 🥳

⚜️9th place at the World Pool Championship ⚜️

For the third time in a row I qualified for the last 16 at the biggest event of the year, very happy about that 😁
I played well throughout the whole event, just fell a hair short against Wu in my last match.

Congrats to all medallists, Mohammad Soufi 🥈, Mario He 🥉, Wu Kun Lin🥉👏 but especially Fran Sanchez for snapping off another World title, this guy is just absurd 😅🏆🥇

It was an amazing atmosphere, to play in front of the polish crowd, you guys were amazing 🤩 we all signed countless shirts, hats, posters… took a lot of pictures and had many little chats - you made the tournament even more special, thank you 🥳

A turbulent year comes to an end!

Words can not describe how I feel at the moment. Runner Up at this year‘s US Open - the most prestigious Pool event in the world! 🤯

Of course losing in the finals is tough, but every hour passes I feel more proud about what I have achieved! Especially the semi finals is something I will always remember, being down 8:2 and still believing in myself!

Really happy with my performance, especially with my mental game. I felt like I improved a lot compared to the last tournaments 😊

Won my last 16 match vs. Dimitri Jungo 7:2, played some nice shots and felt really good on the table 🤩
In the Quarter finals vs. Ko Pin Yi I had a small chance after he ran the first 3 racks, I made a good jump and ran the next, but missed an opportunity to equalize the match and that was more or less it. Hats off to the Prince pf pool 🙌

Finished 5th place at this years World 9 Ball Championships!

Happy with the result, I played with fire in the early knock out stages twice, coming back from 6:9 winning 11:9 in the last 64 with Denis Grabe and last 32 I was down 6:10 winning 11:10 against Petri Makkonen . Luck was on my side this time, sorry pals 😘

After that I had a decent win over alps-buddy Dimitri Jungo 11:9, first time the whole event I was leading in a match from the beginning 🙈

Quarterfinals I played Abdullah Thesolidgold Alyousef who showed some big heart After I was up 9:4 and had already one foot into the door for the semis… BUT after making 2 stupid safety errors something changed in my mind and my game and I lost all of my confidence and focus and missed some really good opportunities. 🤦‍♂️

Nevertheless I will be back, more experienced. Maybe I will fail again but I will get up again - I promise! 👊

🚫 World 10-Ball Championships 🚫

Last couple of weeks I tried to work on my mindset and my mental game. Looks like it worked out so good, that not only my thoughts but even my covid test got positive.
I‘m in bed since 3 days now with all the usual symptoms.

I‘m very disappointed and sad - even though I lost pretty early in the Las Vegas Open, I was quite happy with my game (except the shootout 🥴) and was really looking forward to play the WC!
