Guided walk in Moana Sands Conservation Park Join the Friends of Moana Sands Conservation Park as we celebrate Onkaparinga Basin Parks as our Park of the Month in February.

Did you know that the group have been announced as finalists for the 2021 SA Landcare Awards? How exciting! 👏🏼🏆

Past and present volunteers who commit their time and efforts have lots to be proud of.

A special shoutout to those who have been around for a lengthy period or even from the start - 20 years and counting!! Your work will continue to be appreciated for many years to come. 🌏

When: 9am - 12pm
Where: Moana CP, walking in from the southern gate.
SEED COLLECTION AND WEEDING AS PER USUAL 🤙🏖

Today 1-4pm: Onion w**ding party in Moana Sands conservation park. 🥳 Help round em up.

Anyone is welcome and all tools are provided, just rock up and get involved!! 🌞🏖🌱🐚

Please enter by foot from the southern entrance (gate behind Graham Rabbett Reserve). Be aware and respectful as you wander through.

Removing onion w**d! Bagging it up and taking it off site so the seed doesn’t spread and create more of a problem next year.

Thanks to Alex, Alister and Sophie for getting their hands in the sand yesterday and making a start.
