One of my goals for a while had been to grow my own vegetables. Despite planting these during the heat they are coming along nicely and enjoying todays rain. Even a few herbs in the garden are better than the ones in the shop and reducing food miles.
Preparing smoothies for week. Baby spinach, blueberries, strawberries and banana. Add water or milk of choice, Modere Green Qi, cinnamon. Blend and enjoy. Prepack bags ready for freezer and use as needed.
SETTING YOUR INTENTIONS
A new year and new decade has begun. Many people will use this time to reflect on the past year and look at
what they want to achieve in the coming months. Resolutions are often made on New Year's Eve with the
best of intentions but often the motivation is lost quickly and very few people fail to reach their goals often
quitting in the first month. It takes 21 days to form a habit and about 3 months for it to fully set in.
What do goals do you want to set yourself for the time ahead? It doesn't need to be massive and often it is
setting yourself small goals and achieving them which will allow you to set your sights on something bigger
further down the track. Reaching the small goals helps change your mindset.
Using the SMART principle allows you to think about your goals in a manageable way.
SPECIFIC - What goal would you like to achieve? How many kilos? How much debt?
MEASURABLE - How will you measure your progress?
ATTAINABLE - Is the goal realistic?
RELEVANT - How important is the goal to you?
TIME-BOUND - What date will you put on reaching your goal?
