Derringers Hire is currently on the lookout for talented individuals to join our crew. We provide a broad range of services within the local events industry including parties, weddings, schools, festivals, live music, pubs & clubs, touring and installation work. As the industry continues to return to normal, we are expanding our team to meet the increased demand for services.

Regular duties will involve:
Preparation and testing of hire equipment (including but not limited to audio, lighting, AV, DJ and backline);
Delivery, setup, packdown and collection of hire systems (everything from a single speaker on a stand, to full-blown festivals);
Regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment, vehicles and warehouse;
Customer service, both in-house and on-site;
Operation of audio and lighting systems.

We operate in a dynamic, 24/7 industry where flexibility and reliability are key. A driver’s licence and the ability to drive large, manual vehicles are a must! Prior experience with setting up and operating modern audio and lighting equipment is essential. An efficient work ethic, attention to detail and neat presentation are non-negotiable.
