I know I’m not a parent yet but I can still relate 🤣🤣🤣
Just incase my page disappears, hopefully this gives you one last laugh 😂😂😂
Please save my phone number for bookings!
I tell tiny humans to stop licking the windows and to stop spreading kinetic sand across the carpet 🤣🤣🤣
I saw a post way back about using a fitted sheet at the beach to keep babies sand free and thought it would be perfect for Lego in a classroom!
LIFE CHANGING
I use it for kinetic sand too because I can shake it into the bin or can shake it off outside.
No mess and quickest pickup ever! I literally dump the sheet in the box and it’s all contained within 30 seconds.
Just pop boxes in the corners to keep the sides upright.
2024 is looking a little different to what I anticipated.
I’ll still be offering
- tutoring
- support work
- respite care
But, I may be back to relief teaching. So, I thought it would be the perfect time to remind you that I’ve always offered event babysitting.
I’m stocked with giant floor games, low mess activities and a bunch of cool things to entertain your tiny guests!
Have a special event or wedding coming up? Reach out with all the details you have and I’ll get back to you asap with a quote!
Holding a special event eg Christmas party, milestone birthday, wedding or engagement party and unsure of how to entertain the kids?
Want to know the kids are cared for while you and your guests dance the night away?
I can care for up to 7 children (up to 5 aged under 5) at any one time. I provide an entertainment table and include free customised colouring pages for your tiny guests.
My favourite thing in the world is seeing kids little faces light up when they realise the fun they have access to!
No mess things I’ve taken to weddings and milestone birthdays in the past include
- shrinkies
- scratch art
- play doh
- customised colouring in pages
- bracelet and necklace making kits
- tiny table games
- giant flow games
- board games
- animal masks
- wooden puzzles
- drawing prompt pages
- card games
- iPads/laptop for clips/apps (when previously discussed as an appropriate activity eg sensory needs)

✨ FREE MAGICAL ENTERTAINMENT THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS 🎩
Mickster the Trickster is performing TWO FREE MAGIC SHOWS at the Woodcroft Town Centre this coming Saturday (7th of October 2023).
Grab the family to enjoy some MAGICAL entertainment followed by a shop around the mall. 🌟👜
This GENIUS idea from Holly Haines BLEW. MY. MIND.
She’s set up a play list that gives her kids a time frame for each task of their morning routine.
Eg three radio songs to get up and dressed.
Then a fun non radio song plays. By this time, they know they should be eating breakfast.
Repeat for cleaning teeth and shoes etc.
This blew my mind. I’d have loved this as a kid!
She’s super kind and said I could share this to help others.
If you’d like her playlist, leave a disco ball 🪩 below and I’ll DM you the Spotify link.
I’ve just summarised her idea as the post was a lot longer and Facebook saved the Spotify link, not her timed breakdown.
I want to do this for myself but probably with 90’s music instead of Jack Hartman. I get enough of him at school! 😂🤣
I’ve had a few enquiries lately about pricing so I’ve updated my price list.
(Further terms and conditions apply)
Looking for a super cheap prize box alternative? I may have you covered!
My school kids who love making all have craft jars/tins. Each time they make a choice that warrants a reward, they can choose between a sticker for their sticker book (towards a reward from my prize box) OR a few bits for their craft jar.
I’ve said they can take them home at the end of the term/year so they have craft items to create with over the holidays.
I throw in all the pretty ribbons that come on gift bags, circles I cut using a punch and recycled cardboard and any other gems or sequins I find lying around.
It literally costs me nothing 😂 and the kids love it!
Teaching arrays, multiplication or division? Old Connect 4 trays and play doh are perfect!
I love how the most magical & creative things come out of a paint set and a cardboard box when I’m babysitting! Most bookings turn into a one on one art lesson 🎨
Donut you wish this donut shop was created by your child? 🙊🍩
Looking for a way to teach kids partitioning or multiplication using arrays?
My one on one kids love this as we use the dough and gel pens from
Looking for an easy way to teach arrays that also happens to be a great fine motor activity? have you covered with their melty beads!
My one on one kiddo (tutoring) LOVED this!
Lest we Forget ♥️

🐰🐣
My little people love building sight word towers and cards from larger Lego bricks and Duplo kits!
My tiny humans loved this hands on pre assessment. I gave them a giant bundle of plastic coins and asked them to place the correct coins on the listed items. I then asked them to order the coins from smallest/lowest to biggest/highest value.
We also used it with my fabric pizza and taco imaginative play sets to roll, make and sell pizza slices and tacos.
The metallic permanent markers worked brilliantly on the cardboard. They’re super affordable at $5 a packet too.
I’m going to make a lolly shop, donut shop, toy shop and smoothie/milkshake shop with varying prices so they can practise choosing the correct coins to pay.
I know the tiny humans behind this little start up and I couldn’t be more excited to see where this takes them!
SPELLING/SIGHT WORD CRAFT: TACOS
My sight word taco task was an absolute hit with the tiny humans!
I pre cut a bunch of stuff that the kids wrote their words on before making it into a taco.
I’d have them trace their own circle that they can cut out next time instead of using a pack of pre cut paper.
I’ve already organised the ingredients for hamburgers for next week!
Someone posted this idea in one of the Kmart teaching ideas groups a while back and I’ve been on the hunt for the puzzle ever since. I finally found it in today!
Such a fun way to help kids learn to count to 100.
The $7 (on clearance in the outdoor sports section) bean bag naughts and crosses game is the perfect way for kids to learn their sight words. Mine love tossing the bean bags around and watching the sections spin.
Did you know I have an Insta for my little kids business? My reels don’t auto post to both apps and I often forget to reshare them 🙈 so I’d love for you to follow me on Insta so you don’t miss the extra things I post in my reels!

I’ve used the rainbow desk pads for a few activities over the last few weeks.
I scored the pack for $3 which is heaps cheaper than coloured printing!
We are using them for
- spelling and sight word practice (I section them off into 6-8 triangles to last the week)
- recording our rainbow adjectives
- creating rainbow number posters (future lesson)
- recording addition sums up to 10 (future lesson)
My only gripe is that they’re bigger than an A3 page 🙈
Today we made sight word sandwiches for homework (sight word practice). It’s super simple (you just need paper, markers/crayons and scissors) but the tiny human I support weekly absolutely loves imaginative play and loved this!
