Let us introduce to you, Alfe Alcorin, 2023 QCOTY Winner.

Alfe has been working at Gauchos for a year and a half (completing both IP and HP placement) under the guidance of Head Chef Jimmy. Jimmy has been incredibly supportive of QCA students, mentoring Alfe and sharing his extensive knowledge, especially in butchering, preparing, and cooking premium cuts of meat.

When asked about Alfes performance, Jimmy stated ‘Alfe is always punctual and well-presented with excellent communication skills. He has made great progress in his grill training and shows exceptional knife skills. A great team player with a positive attitude, we are very happy with Alfe and look forward to having him at Gauchos for a long time.’

We are so grateful to have Premium Restaurants like Gauchos taking onboard QCA students and commend Alfe on his exceptional progress!

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bev Arnfield, a highly respected specialist in the hospitality industry, a cherished colleague, trainer, mentor, and friend.

Bev's long-standing association with Quality College of Australia made her an integral part of our team. She was dedicated to training and inspiring job seekers and hospitality employees.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Bev’s family. She was a truly inspirational woman who will be greatly missed.
