Yesterday, the AIAA Adelaide Section hosted a successful panel event at the University of Adelaide on How to Build a Successful Space Mission. The panel featured:

> David Jervis from Gilmour Space Technologies,
> Kavindi De Silva from Inovor Technologies,
> Paddy Neumann from Neumann Space,
> Louis des Landes from Fleet Space Technologies, and
> Melissa de Zwart representing the Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources and the University of Adelaide.
At the open panel event many fascinating topics were covered, including space law, international collaboration and competition, innovation in Australia, and internship and job opportunities in the Space Industry!

This evening, the AIAA are hosting a FREE panel aimed at students interested in a career in the space sector, at the University of Adelaie in support of the Space Forum later in the week.

The panel will begin at 6pm in Lecture Theatre LG29, in the Lower Napier Building at the University of Adelaide's North Terrace Campus.
We are excited to announce our new club name and logo! Moving forwards, we will be rebranding to the Adelaide University Design, Build, Fly Club or AUDBF to better reflect the long-term commitment of the club towards student excellence in the field of aerospace technology by laying the groundwork in preparation for the upcoming mergers between the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. This is an exciting time for our club, and we look forwards to continue serving the University community through our excellent UAV development and student engagement programs!

Our DBF team have been working hard over the break on the design and optimisation of our Piping Shrike MK II plane design. We are currently undergoing testing on sections of the plane before we move into prototyping! We can't wait for the design to be completed ready for the DBF competition in April ✈!
