Exciting news from the Kids in Space Showcase! Our very own Stephen, Joel, Harrison, and Flynn took home the Peer Vote Award. We're incredibly proud of their hard work and creativity. Way to reach for the stars, boys!
Our brilliant Year 5 students shone at the Kids in Space Showcase today! They proudly presented their space-themed projects to visitors, demonstrating impressive knowledge and creativity. From food delivery systems to space station exercise, rubbish and wellbeing solutions, their work was out of this world! It was a fantastic day filled with learning, inspiration, and fun. Winter Appeal Thank you
Thank you to the generosity of all families who donated to the Winter Appeal this year. Last Friday, the Social Justice leaders and Year 6 students assisted Adelaide Day Centre volunteers who came to collect the items. Michael, one of the volunteers, expressed deep appreciation for the school’s support, sharing a story about a family of six facing difficult times. Our donations will provide much-needed relief for this and many other families this winter.

Grow Your Mind Parent Information Evening
On Tuesday evening, a Grow Your Mind Parent Information Session took place. The main presenter for the evening was Courtney Quigley. During the session, parents had the opportunity to delve into the neuroscience-based Grow Your Mind program, which is currently being taught at the school. Courtney skilfully guided us through an informative journey, emphasizing ways to support children’s learning and well-being. Additionally, the session included engaging brain break activities that challenged our cognitive abilities and coordination skills.
If you’d like further details about the Grow Your Mind program, feel free to explore their website https://growyourmind.life/
Tuesday our very own Jackson competed in a handball game against Andrew Hayes from Nova. Jackson was competing for the chance to win the title of Handball champion and for a shot at $1000. With Mr Schultz as our official umpire, we are so pleased to announce Jackson won. Congratulations Jackson!

What an incredible effort by these amazing young ladies! 👏
On May 14th, Chanel, Zara, Alessandra, and Ava organized a fundraising stall to support the Winter Appeal. Through their hard work and dedication, they raised an impressive $163.10!
The funds were used to purchase essential items like blankets, sleeping bags, beanies, gloves, scarves, and socks – all invaluable resources to help those in need stay warm during the cold winter months.
We're so proud of their initiative and compassion in giving back to the community. Their selfless act is a shining example of the positive impact we can make when we come together for a good cause.
Thank you, girls, for your inspiring efforts! You've truly made a difference in the lives of others.
Thank you to Owen and Ruby’s Nanna who knitted this beautiful blanket for the winter appeal – I’m sure the recipient will be kept very warm!
