You will even be able to buy some merchandise and a bottle or two of one of the best McLaren Vale Shiraz wines available - The Aviator - perfect for memories in the making!

The weather is set to be fabulous and with a wonderful line up of aircraft displays it is sure to be a great day out!

LINE PILOT FULL TIME POSITION

Located at Adelaide Airport, Platinum Aircraft Charter operates a fleet of B200 King Air aircraft in addition to smaller pistons servicing a diverse group of valued clients.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified pilots for the position of Line Pilot for multiple aircraft types ranging from C172, C182, C210, B55, C208 and B200 King Air.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-respected and professional organisation
offering great working conditions and a flexible approach to achieving a good work/life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities
You are required to comply with the applicable company and/or group policies and procedures as determined or varied from time to time. Duties may include but are not limited to the following;

Flight and operational requirements as per your license, ratings and approvals,
Aircraft preparation, maintenance, training and all other general flight related duties,
Movement, maintenance and cleaning of aircraft and related items,
Ensure all company property (including aircraft) are well presented and maintained in a safe and clean manner,
Any and all reporting requirements as instructed by your supervisor and/or by the relevant section of the Operations Manual
When not engaged in flying duties or performing the requirements of your primary flying role you may be asked to perform any other duties that could be reasonably expected of you by the company.
Required Qualifications

Current CASA issued Commercial or Air Transport Pilot License
Current CASA Class One medical certification
Current Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
2,000hrs total flight time
25hrs at night
Highly Desirable

B200 King Air Endorsement
IFR Charter Experience

A day in the life of the Platinum fleet ….

Today we flew:

A group of lovely touring guests between destinations in the to continue their journey exploring ediacaran fossils

A group of workers to the far north of and back for their weekly crew change

Multiple tourist passengers to and from the sensational in with

Multiple tourist passengers to the breathtaking in followed by a gorgeous coastal scenic flight back to Kununurra

And our most precious cargo flown to and back to in the form of a pancreas for groundbreaking islet cell harvesting which will absolutely change a young persons life in ways we can’t even imagine.

We feel SO privileged to be involved in all of your journeys but today was certainly a pretty special one for more reasons than one

Today our Cessna Caravan departed Adelaide for Coober Pedy to spend the night on the way up through central Australia to our WA base in Kununurra for the dry season. Providing top level comfort, safety and of course the absolute best views alongside the 210 for itineraries throughout the Kimberley to destinations including Mitchell Falls and Purnululu National Park

Cold and rainy here to abundant sunshine and warmth in the North!

Platinum Aircraft Charter operates a fleet of turboprop aircraft in addition to smaller pistons servicing a diverse group of valued clients with our primary base being located in Adelaide. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified pilots for the position of C208 Caravan and C210 Scenic Flight Pilot at our WA base in Kununurra on a seasonal basis.

A group of women in aviation set up COME FLY INC in 2011 to help Students/Pilots achieve their dream. For some it has been adding to their endorsements, others to be challenged by flying a biplane, then a few to be helped gain their Commercial Pilot Licence, more as an encouragement to keep trying.

In the last 10 years we have raised funds in excess of $90,000!
The sole purpose of these funds is to foster, encourage and promote aviation.
