Simon of Soul Trader® Sunday 2-5pm at the Alma Hotel.

The Alma is pleased to welcome Soul Trader, performing an acoustic set this Sunday 17th in the beer garden between 2 - 5pm, to help you get into the holiday spirit!
This will be followed by an early closure of the hotel from 5pm so that staff can let their hair down for our Christmas show.

We will be back on deck as usual on Monday the 18th (with likely a few sore heads) and look forward to seeing you!

It was so nice to head back to St Bees and Egremont for the over the weekend after 4 year away. It was cold as hell (hang on, hell’s not cold, so they say), but the sun was out mostly. It’s a stunning part of the world. If you haven’t see it, you should go.

The morning after the night before. Off to Cumbria for the CKDCF.

The Aussie has landed.

Suns out today, but it is 10C. On a train heading North. Every other time I’ve performed in the UK I drove everywhere in a hire car, which I do like, but this time I’m doing it a little different. Each has its pros and cons.

You never know when it will be your last gig, last opportunity, last time seeing the world. In Feb 2020 I was planning a tour, and then it all changed. A lot has changed and happen since then. It’s a journey not a destination, I just gotta enjoy the ride. You too. 🤘🏼♥️

Weather is largely about attitude, and choice of clothing. If your travelling overseas with limited attire, it’s mostly attitude. I walked for over an hour today from the train station, in drizzly English rain and it was great. A great day for a walk, and feeling to elements. 🇬🇧🌧️🚶🏼‍♂️🤘🏼
