Finals Week 1 is Here!!

This weekend our Men’s C Grade are taking on Rostrevor OC @ Campbelltown Memorial Oval in an important qualifying final!

Securing the top spot in the regular season, our Men’s B grade team has the weekend off as they prepare for the second qualifying final against the winner of this Saturday’s Rostrevor OC v Salisbury North clash.

We are so proud of Chloe Tonkin. ❤️😇

Yesss Chloe Tonkin 🙌🏻🙌🏻 our young star is one of eight South Australians selected for the 2024 Marsh AFL Girls National Futures Program, culminating in a showcase match on Saturday August 31.

She will have the opportunity to play in a curtain-raiser to the opening round AFLW clash between Geelong and Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong 🤩

This is a way to recognise all of the great things that the GSFC do on and off the field. We thank our members, players and volunteers for their commitment to all areas of our football club and supporting all of our initiatives.

While the result of saturday’s game against Adelaide Uni was not the outcome our A grade were looking for, both the Men’s B and C grade have successfully secured spots in the FINALS!!

With the regular season over, a few of our junior teams are gearing up for finals!! Best of luck to the following teams who will be playing this weekend:

U13 Boys
U17.5 Boys (red)
U12 Girls
U14 Girls
U16 Girls 

The U12 Girls will be taking on Reynella in a qualifying final at Goody Oval from 10am Sunday.
We would love for you to come down to support them - with BBQ and canteen open!!

Ace-it Couriers, a long-term sponsor of the club, are looking for casual driver from September through to February.

This is a great opportunity for people currently studying at University or looking for work 2-3 days per week.
