Please feel welcome to share with your family and friends and I look forward to sharing this wonderful healing modality with you soon.
Bowen Therapy is a wonderful technique to effectively address anxiety, stress, grief and PTSD.
Worry and anxiety can activate our sympathetic fight/flight/freeze/fawn nervous system response.
While this is an appropriate response in the face of danger, chronic activation can cause significant health issues.
If you're feeling stressed, consider Bowen Therapy!
Its gentle touches can help to downregulate our nervous systems from fight/flight/freeze/fawn to rest/digest, where repair can occur.
Taking good care of your body AFTER Bowen can help to maximise its effects.
Are you:
π§ Drinking enough water?
βΈοΈ Allowing time between sessions for your body to integrate?
π Not sitting for long periods of time (especially if your back is an issue)?
ππΌββοΈ Moving around regularly?
π Stretching?
What you do after your Bowen session can matter!
A career with purpose, flexibility and fulfilment.., the future for the healing and wellness industry is bright β¨β€οΈβπ©Ήπ
Just one of the (many!) reasons why working as a Bowen Therapist can be so fulfilling. ππ»
The pauses treat the causes!
The power of the pause! βΈοΈ Between each set of moves, Bowen Therapists pause for as many minutes as are needed for the client's body to begin responding. As the nervous system begins to adjust the tension level in the muscles, the practitioner senses when the client is ready for the next set of moves.
In contrast to other hands-on modalities, where practitioners impose correction on the client through manipulation, Bowen Technique facilitates the body in ππππ‘ππ£π ππ©π¨ππ‘π, with π’ππ£ππ’ππ‘ ππ£π©ππ§π«ππ£π©ππ€π£.

Bowen Therapy is so unique in its application that it is suitable for all ages and degrees of health..
Bowen Therapy, also known as the Bowen Technique or Bowenwork, is a form of hands-on bodywork that involves gentle, rolling movements over the muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues of the body. It was developed in the 1950s by Australian Tom Bowen, who claimed that the technique could help alleviate pain, improve posture, and enhance overall health and well-being.
During a Bowen Therapy session, the practitioner will typically perform a series of small, precise movements on specific areas of the body, such as the back, neck, shoulders, or legs. These movements are designed to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms and help restore balance and harmony within the body.
Bowen Therapy is often used to treat a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, and stress-related disorders. It is also sometimes used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments.
One of the unique aspects of Bowen Therapy is that it typically involves only a few, brief sessions spaced several days apart, rather than ongoing, long-term treatments. This can make it a more convenient and cost-effective option for some people.
Commencing March in Adelaide with Module 1 of Cert.IV in Bowen Therapy (10846nat). Enrolments open..

Bowen is gentle and effective to relieve colic in babies, making for a good nights rest for the family!
Scientific research is showing that Bowen Therapy is super effective for treating Colic in babies. All parents deserve to know the benefits of Bowen.
In the film 'These Two Hands' Tom Bowen's daughter Heather tells the story of her baby crying with acute stomach pain from Colic at all hours of the night. "When dad (Tom) came to visit, he said, oh give her to me, he put her on the dining room table and did some moves, within a few minutes handed her back and said, she'll be right now. Sure enough, she was right!".
