For the second year, South Australia is hosting a festival to showcase the Heavy Horse! Something not to be missed....

Entry & parking is only $10 per car. The venue (Wirrina Cove Holiday Park) is a gorgeous rural property with a large grassed Oval as it centerpiece. 199 Paradise Drive, Wirrina Cove S.A.

If you love horses, this is a great place to see some of the most spectacular breeds! Some of which are very rare. Showcased this year will be the Clydesdale, Friesian, Gypsy Cob, Shire, Drum Horse, Fjord and Haflinger as well as many partbred horses.

has u covered for all your healthy options. Food will be available onsite all day for both days, but you are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful park surroundings.

There is some indoor café seating as well as a large under cover pergola, right next to the Oval. Bring your camp chair, should you wish to watch from around the Oval.

• There will be several blacksmith demonstrations throughout the day on Saturday.
• Led show classes for all the purebred horses will be Saturday morning.
• Harness judging and working demonstrations will start lunchtime on Saturday and continue on through Sunday morning.
• Harry will be in attendance with his stunning authentic replica Gypsy Wagon. This is something to behold and not to be missed.❤️ Many other historically significant horse drawn vehicles to be on display.
• Want to see some thundering horses cantering through the countryside and jumping? Then Sunday lunchtime will have you see them do the crosscountry component of the “Hunter trials”.
• Presentations will be awarded Sunday afternoon after 3pm.

Last day of Southern Surf Festival today Middleton 🏄‍♀️ sun 28 th April weather 🌦️ looking mighty fine. A 2-day celebration of South Australian surfing 🏄🏿‍♂️ and surf competition.

The two days will be a true celebration of surfing in South Australia, incorporating all aspects of our unique and inclusive surf culture. From board swaps to surf art to food vendors, the family-friendly festival will have something for everybody, no matter how actively involved in the sport you are. There will be music, food trucks, stalls, local wine, beer, and much more. Supported by Alexandrina Council, the event is expected to attract thousands of visitors and attendees and hundreds of overnight stays on the famed South Coast surf mecca.

Surfing events include the Longboard and Masters Shortboard and PARA State Titles on the Saturday. The Sunday is Funday with a Twin Finn, Mid Length, Foamy Comp and Interclub social surf off. These events are open and everyone is welcome to have a go. Entries are open on the Surfing South Australia website under the events tab.
