Vote Labor like your life depends on it 🤔
South Australians deserve better.
Our thoughts are with the family of the 54 year old man who died last week waiting 10 hours for an ambulance to arrive.
It’s hard to comprehend, and like many South Australians I have feelings of both despair and anger in equal measure.
Fixing this, fixing ramping is exactly what Labor relentlessly campaigned on at the election and promised they would deliver.
There are serious reports of pressure on our clinicians to clear the ramp and frankly we must not let political pressure jeopardise the lives of South Australians.
👩🏼⚕️👨🏻⚕️We support our expert clinicians making decisions about how patients are clinically prioritised in our hospitals - with the patient, not political promises and pressure at the centre.
Peter Malinauskas promised to fix ramping but as pointed out by the Advertiser - it’s nearly triple what it was in the former government’s last month. 🚑
It’s the worst it’s ever been and we need the government to start delivering for SA.

Congratulations to Ben Hood, preselected by the State Council of the SA Liberal Party to fill the casual vacanacy left by the Hon Stephen Wade following his retirement from the Legislative Council of South Australia.
Ben has been an unwavering supporter of the Young Liberals and we can’t wait to see him in State Parliament advocating for issues important to young people.

Too few participants in our democracy appear to have a set of identifiable beliefs.
Ask yourself a simple question today, what do I believe?
A firm foundation is important because storms will come. In a home, without a firm foundation, your home would wash away when rains fall and storms blow. The same can be said about your beliefs.
Great leaders must have specific beliefs and core values they adhere too.
On leadership, people want to be led, not managed. Instead, leaders must manage their actions and possess the ability to lead by example.

As ramping continues to reach record levels, the Labor Government has started slugging unsuspecting patients of millions of dollars 😩
Patients are being back-billed almost one year after they were told their trip to hospital was free, due to paramedics taking industrial action.
South Australians deserve to be treated better. Don’t trust Labor with your health.

Mr Dutton said Labor was treating super savings as its own by demanding funds get into the home building business, all while removing transparency provisions around how funds use money.
“Your super is your money. This government thinks it’s their money, something we have seen in this budget,” he said.
“They want your super to invest in someone else’s home, not your own.
“At the same time, they want super funds to be less transparent with what they do with your money.”

Congratulations to Peter Dutton and Sussan Ley, elected as Leader and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party.
Speaking at his first press conference as Leader yesterday, Peter Dutton gave an insight into the direction he seeks to take the party under his leadership,
“To win the next election ... our policies are going to be targeted at those people who understand the Liberal Party is the best when it comes to economic management so that we can pay for our climate change investment and pay for education and policing, and our roads and infrastructure.”
“All I want to do is to make sure that we don’t forget about those in the suburbs, and I do think they are the forgotten people. I do think those people in small business and micro business feel like the system is against them. And I want to be a voice for them.”
We wish Peter, Sussan and the Liberal Team well for the road ahead particularly as they hold Labor to account leading Her Majesty’s Opposition.
I want to sincerely thank my Liberal Party colleagues for their support of Sussan Ley MP and I today.
Under my leadership, the Liberal Party will be true to our values that have seen us win successive elections over the course of the last quarter of a century.
Make no mistake, and Australians understand this; the next three years under Labor is going to be tough. Already they are breaking promises and foreshadowing policy shifts. They weren’t ready to govern and we are already seeing their inexperience on display.
Sussan and I lead a team which has the experience to make the right calls on supporting government policies that are in our national interest; and standing against those that are not in our national interest.
I owe everything of course to my family, to my friends and community; and of course the Liberal Party and my colleagues for this incredible honour.
