Plus, meet Rick [the new Dave] who will be reopening the store on Monday 20 Feb with all the great selection of meats you’ve grown to expect.

Valley Butchers will be back open real soon! Rick is going to give the shop a wee spruce next week, then business as you've known and loved.

Who wants a free sausage on Dave and Josh? Come down from 11am until 3’ish and celebrate 20 years of banter with the boys.

Dave has been blown away and is feeling very humbled by the outpouring from the local community. So, this Saturday, the boys will be at the shop putting on a free sausage sizzle to say goodbye and thank you.

Plus, meet the new Dave who will be reopening the store on Monday 20 Feb. BTW his name isn’t Dave, its Rick!

A massive thank you to the entire community for your outpouring of care and support. Please accept my humble apologies for the short notice of closure, but mentally, I felt I had no choice.

Seriously, please note that there are discussions in place to have someone fill my shoes soon to keep the Valley Butchers name going within the community. We are not quite sure how this will look and when this will commence.

Again, thank you for the last 20 years of custom and the deep friendships that have been formed.
