Wrinkle Relaxer Activity — How long do wrinkle relaxers really last? 💉
As much as we would all love for our gorgeous wrinkle relaxer results to last forever, unfortunately for most patients, the muscle deactivation effect induced by wrinkle relaxers will usually last for approximately 16 weeks.
Following your treatment, the wrinkle relaxing effect slowly begins to show after 5-10 days. Muscle deactivation induced by the wrinkle relaxer then begins to fall around week 7 allowing a small amount of the muscle's natural movement to return to the area which will then gradually increase as the weeks go by.

In the lead-up to International Alopecia Day this Saturday, 6th August, we hope to shed some light on Alopecia and what treatments we have available if you suffer from hair loss.
Alopecia is not uncommon, with about 2% of the population diagnosed with some form of it. However, what is rare is an open discussion about the disease, different types of alopecia, and what treatments are available.
One of the treatments we have available here at Absolute Cosmetic is Regenera Activa. Regenera Activa is an effective technique used in halting pattern hair loss. This minimally invasive treatment uses capillary rejuvenation therapy to combat androgenetic alopecia using autologous micro-grafts obtained from the patient’s tissue.
