Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one’s being, but by integration of the contraries

The first step to transformation is awareNESS
Your tummy grumbling is the ULTIMATE compliment to your massage therapist! That’s right!
Massage can trigger your parasympathetic nervous system, which is the rest-and-digest state, a sign that you have mellowed out, relaxed and we are doing a good job
In Sanskrit, “anahata” means unhurt, unstruck and unbeaten. It is the fourth primary chakra and serves as our center of love for oneself and others, compassion, empathy and forgiveness
Journey through the heart 💚 chakra with Ness this week
This is your reminder to let go of tension in your body….

I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and sharing this week. Seeing so many students thriving and sharing their experiences has been inspiring
“Imagine a bright, glowing yellow light at the center of your stomach, just above the belly button, where the Solar Plexus Chakra is located and as you breathe deeply, allow the yellow light to flow through your being, filling you with the energy of personal power, self-confidence and inner strength

One of my favourite aspects of teaching at YogaNess is the witnessing the transformative energy that fills the space by the end of each class. The shift in how our students feel from the moment they enter to when they leave is truly remarkable.
Join us and be apart of this uplifting journey
At YogaNess we treasure the art of creating a safe space for like-minded individuals to join together, move, breathe and immerse themselves in the profound experience of yoga. Our classes are not just about physical movement, they are about fostering a sense of inner peace and rejuvenation

The morning’s at The Conti 😍
Making the practice of yoga a habit each morning allows the body to get into the habit of switching off the sympathetic 'fight or flight' stress response and instead able to finally tap into the healing benefits of the parasympathetic nervous system – increasing the health of both body and mind immensely.
Your Sacral Chakra is a fierce and intuitive energy hub in your body and today greater scientific evidence suggests, that the gut is so complex that it serves as a second brain
There are more neurones in the gi tract than any where in the body except the brain
What an absolute pleasure holding space for our lovely guests over the weekend at our first ever time at the Conti in Daylesford.
From the crackling fires, to the wholesome food everyone left feeling content, albeit with a food belly, thanks to Hind 🫶
“Thank you for creating such a beautiful space with fabulous ladies, beautiful facilities, beyond excellent food, awesome leadership and learnings and a beyond expectations’ experience. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 ❤️🌺🥰”
Taking expressions of interest for another Conti Retreat in 2025
While in self practice this morning ( yin ) I noticed that my mind would distract me whenever I felt a deepening of discomfort, much more than usual
It got me thinking…..
Have you ever wondered why we disconnect from discomfort? Is it part of our DNA, or a learned behaviour?
I believe embracing discomfort ( as much as any other sensation ) on the mat allows you to connect with your inner self off the mat
Heading to bed after a soulful afternoon with all our guests
Belly full… thanks to our amazing chef Hind
WellNESS Retreat 2024
The root chakra can be associated with survival, safety, security, family and feeling grounded. Our primal instincts and our more Earthly thoughts and actions are tied to the root chakra.
In our first year in this lifetime, we enter into the root chakra cycle and the first year in the cycle is associated with the root chakra.
This period represents the first time we’ve ever seen or experienced this lifetime; we’re only just getting familiar with this planet and so it’s largely about fear and our more Earthly, grounding feelings

You have roots, a base, a sense of home
Come and journey through your base chakra this week
The root chakra is the first chakra. Its energy is based on the earth element. It’s associated with the feeling of safety and grounding. It’s at the base of the chakra system and lays the foundation for expansion in your life.
Over the next seven weeks Ness will be guiding you through the chakras ☸️
We believe that the weekends are perfect for rejuvenation and self care through yoga.

Drishti also means view, as in a philosophical view that extends even to our moment to moment proportions about ourselves, others and the world
Have you ever noticed how the quality of your gaze can impact the state of your mind?
By embracing the connection between mind and drishti - the focused gaze, true transformation begins…
