These are the faces of relief after having made it through our first accreditation inspection. It went very well, thanks to some amazing teamwork - what a lovely crew.

It’s very important to us that when we need to refer tricky cases on, our patients are met with warmth and professionalism.

So it was such a delight today to meet Mr. Suj Krishnamoorthy, whose rooms are across the road with Central Highlands Surgeons.

Great news! The fantastic pathology collector, Lisa, has joined the team at Raglan Street and will be here with Australian Clinical Labs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9-1 for all of your pathology needs.
Many of you may have come across Lisa before, and we are so excited to have such an experienced and compassionate team member here. Welcome, Lisa!

Hello my lovely cosmetic patients. I’m trialling something new! Instead of Saturdays I thought I’d see if you like Wednesday night for out of hours appointment times. The first one is July 31st, and they’ll probably be monthly from then on. I promise to have the heater on! ❄️🌧️☔️⛄️

It was a momentous day for our little clinic - We finally removed the covid glass from reception! This enormous piece of glass was built to survive, well, a pandemic. Heavy and stuck down - a credit to those who made it - it took the whole team to lift and move it.
We hope that this restores the natural warmth and human connection that comes from being able to see and hear each other.

Did you know the most common location for melanoma in women is the lower leg?

This presents a particular surgical challenge.

Our skin cancer doctors are experienced in performing flap surgery, in which nearby skin is used to help close the wound, without needing a graft from a distant location.
This allows for a shorter recovery, less scarring, and it can all be done under one roof.

Our aim is to make our patients’ skin cancer journey as smooth as possible.

The old spot hiding under a watch trick! This clever patient noticed a new spot with a weird looking shadow.
Unfortunately, melanomas can turn up in places that rarely see the sun, such as under your watch. This one turned out to be a melanoma “ in situ”, which means at its very earliest stage, and it will be easy to treat completely.
Dangerous cancer escaping notice - not on this patient’s watch!!!! ⌚️ 👏👏

This melanoma didn’t look like much to the naked eye, but serial photos revealed the change that was a tip-off.

Week one at Raglan Street Clinic down! I’ve been truly thrilled by the overwhelming support. I was fully booked right from 8:45am Monday! Thanks a million to everyone who worked out where to find me then put up with me learning all the new tech. I absolutely love my new consulting room with its fireplace, high ceiling and two windows for me to sticky beak out of. Thanks also to the hard working staff frantically taking calls and managing with a hundred post it notes everywhere. Our biggest screwup for the week was flooding the washing machine onto the carpet so it could have been a lot worse!

Welcome to the Raglan Street Clinic page!
What an honour it will be to open our doors on Monday 18 March.
It’s been quite a daunting task pulling this all together - thank goodness for the incredible team of local builders, painters, cleaners, IT people, marketing professionals, new staff, friends, and all round helpers!
And we must tip our hat to Dr. Carl Grace for the years of care that he and his team put into the building and practice.
We’re all so proud to be taking this significant step, together as a team of folks who have a common goal of supporting each other and supporting our clients.
