Week 7 Skills focus; Self-defence against weapons.

Congratulations to students who contested our term 2 Sparring Challenge. Over 60 members stepped up to the challenge of competing in the ring, matched with players of similar weights to test their Taekwondo Sparring skills. While some of our more experienced members gained an opportunity to refine their sparring strategies, for many younger members it was their first sparring experience and an opportunity to overcome the very natural anxiety of participating in a "restricted contact" martial sport. - the ultimate resilience exercise! A special thank-you to our senior coaches for managing this event.
